This unit is beautiful and exactly what I’m looking for but I had the most horrible experience with Jessie’s wigs! I watched a video of an influencer who presented a unit and I decided to purchase the exact glueless unit. It was not glueless at all and shedded like crazy. I am not a wig wearer, so I knew little about wigs tho I tried to educate myself as much as possible and looked at sooo many glueless unit videos on UA-cam and ig, I learned then you can not trust what you see online or even how they advertise their products, oh and to not cut the lace until you know for sure that the wig is going to be your forever wig. I tried the wig on when I got it and it fit except for the sides it was a 13x6. I felt my hair dresser would be able to fix it, I told her I had a glueless unit but when she saw it she explained that the sides would have to be adjusted or glued down, so we agreed to just glue the sides down and I thought I could let Jessie’s know this wig isn’t glueless and they’d rectify the situation, it was the day before my trip when i got my hair done bc I wanted it to be fresh as possible tho I bought the wig a month prior so I had to make a quick decision on how to install the thing in my head, besides I figured like most companies when they give you something faulty they will fix the issue or give a refund. Jessie’s wigs actually admitted that the wig was not glueless and had a bad fit after I sent them pictures which they asked for, but since the lace had been cut (bc the lace is gold and rare apparently and if you cut it there is no possible way they could ever use the hair or replace the lace on the wig bc the lace part is just some complex intricate part of a wig tho it goes in the trash once it’s cut 🙄) anyway they offered me a 25% discount or a $200 5x5 closure unit. I even told them if they could pay to get the wig adjusted that would help. I did not want to purchase from them again for obvious reasons and they said yes at first but then ignored me when I tried to proceed with either giving them the wig to adjust themselves or them paying for the wig to be adjusted by someone local to me, and again they kept offering me discounts. So I am stuck with this wig that I wanted to just put on my head and go, and I can’t do that unless I pay extra money to have it customized to my head. I can’t install a unit to save my life so if I want this wig to be properly and securely placed on my head I’d have to pay for it, which sucks bc the whole point of getting a glueless unit was so I could put it on my head myself and go like I saw the influencers do. I feel scammed. I told myself if I ever want to purchase a new unit I will buy it in person from a reputable wig store.
I wish someone would have let me know that if a wig is a 13x6 lace and not a closure then it would have to be customized to fit your head securely, and that the sides would have ti be glued down if not adjusted. And most glueless wigs are either clusters or custom made. I told Jessie’s about this but they couldn’t do anything bc I had work the wig even tho they admitted that the wig did not fit and was not glueless. I learned then to never trust these companies.
