About that Psy'Aviah song: "Om Namah Shivaya" - ॐ नमः शिवाय - is a Shaivite Hindu mantra - often heard sung at the Mahashivaratri festival (which was on the night of the 13th of February this year) - and denotes an affirmation of the universal oneness of the five elements: "Na", Earth; "Ma", Water; "Shi", Fire; "Va", Air; and "Ya", Sky (or Ether). The "Om", or "Aum", is a devotional syllable that precedes most mantras (and sometimes is the mantra in and of itself) and which denotes the primordial sound of creation in Yoga, consisting of the three sounds you can make with your mouth without the use of your tongue as you gradually close it.
