One day somebody will add a chronograph (with bc calculator), weather sensors and a rangefinder into one unit and we will have a perfect tool. Great review as always, love your videos.
I have to take 1 thing into consideration with every purchase ... if I drop it out of the back of a pickup n it falls n hits a rock or into a mud puddle will it still work
You hit it right on the head, you’ll never use the compass. Same calibration issues. The trick is to do the motions being shown a lot faster than you would expect. Made me wonder how accurate the compass would actually be. Maybe gen II offers an affordable IR version?
Ivan when you’re calibrating, I noticed you press the button when you have it in the correct orientation for each step! The directions aren’t good! That’s what I noticed! Semper Fi

I think that will be a must have for the indoor range because sometimes the hash marks on the ceiling are faded.
Thank you.

How do the stand alone comp' compare to those built into the glass?
Any plus or minus to them besides the obvious?
Tripod recommendation?
How does this compare against the RAPTAR S?
No comparison imo, i got both, 4000 always wins
@chummymcgee2823 In what way would you say the 4000 is better? And do you happen to have any experience with the RAPTAR XE?
you cant shoot a tight group at 100 but you get a coyote at 600? nice
Finally 😊
