Nice to see your face guys! In 2020 I achieved my CCNA and your videos played a huge part with the occasional humor 😄 you guys inject into the lessons made it enjoyable. Thank you from Austin Texas!
Wow thanks Olukayode! Congratulations on passing your CCNA! It's really great to hear these videos helped you 😀 I'll visit Texas one day. It's definitely on my list of places to visit!
I use Packet Tracer for practicing and doing Labs for my Cisco CCNA Cert. it’s as good as the real equipment without it all being physically there for real.
@@Certbros Bavid Bombal who’s a Networking Expert as a Cisco x2 CCIE had did a video a while back now where he proved between using Packet Teacer for Network Simulation Programing/Testing and physically using the same real setup that there is just about no difference. The only real difference is the real nature of the actual physical Networking equipment there in front of you or in the room to touch and interact with. Which speaks to how quite impressive Packet Tracer is as a software for Networking Simulation, Lab configuring Testing needs. Hope to see more vids with Packet Tracer though.
our module required us to use this and this is the first time im seeing this. this actually looks so cool and i am somehow excited by all the in depth details.
I'm really excited with your presentation of the subject. Your audibility and simplicity in explanation really can make anyone learn easily. I'm currently doing my CCNA certification and l will really appreciate more videos from you guys. From South Sudan 👌🏾
Thanks for such wonderful tutorials, I'm watching from Cape town in South Africa and I am being encouraged by your spot on explanation of complex stuff. 👊🏾👊🏾
Usually I use GNS3 for complex LABs with Fortigates, F5 and so on but it`s so handy to have Packet Tracer (especially during long flights in offline mode) Thanks for the video, the way you described this overview is great!
Your willing to teach and help is very touching. Just focus on getting into details and your channel would be the best..ever ! People like details and even boring ones since it is the only way to learn and understand things deeply and effectively. Thanks a lot 😀
Thank you my guy, you just made my life easer💯 your audio is loud and clear with simple explanations for beginners. I'm currently doing my cybersecurity certification, it will be more appreciable to gain some more knowledge from your channel. Big up bro!
Well explained. I use PT. Your explanation is all one needs to know and much shorter than going thru the Cisco Network Academy course to learn how to use it for all it can do. One day you will have to explain Cisco CML as the upgrade to PT.
Thanks too much you have explained everything regarding the Cisco account creating, and moreover regarding the packet tracer how to start with it and how to make a simulated networks too
it would be great if you can do a video outlining the differences between packet tracer for windows vs mac. the interfaces are a bit different and for a beginner using a mac the windows only tutes can be confusing
I wish this would have been more longer and complete! But hey! At least I know how to properly use the software! I highly recommend that video! Thank You!
I've been using packet tracer for a couple of weeks now. Kicking my ass in gear to get going for CCNA. I feel this tutorial is better than the one from the site you download from. Thanks for filling in some of the knowledge gaps on the icons. I'm really starting to like packet tracer and the ability for knowledgeable people to be able share skills in such a "close to reality" scenario type program.
Im not using Cisco but my goal is to visualize my network usually for testing ;) the biggest disadvantage is that u must learn cisco specific cli where Fortinet or else have different commands etc.
Well, Fortinet is a firewall, a completely different technology in terms of networking. Besides all vendors have different cli syntax from Juniper to Brocade and so on! The same goes in the firewall space, checkpoint is different from F5, different from ASA, which in turn has different syntax from Palo Alto. But the fundamentals of all networking technologies remain the same.
This presentation was really helpful and simple to understand and follow. I downloaded my Cisco Packet Tracer following your step by step installation video. Awesome. Thank you so much!!🙏👍
Thank you so much for this simple video. You really delivered it in layman’s language and I have finally understood. I was about to give up on packet tracer.
Very good and useful video. Can you kindly make more videos of this type to show how to use other features of packet tracer and how to configure some interconnecting devices. I have already subscribed to your channel and looking forward to be informed of postings of new videos on the packet tracer on your channel. Kind Regards. TJ
Hi Guys! I have learned a lot after just watching this video, very easy to follow and understand. Any chance i can seek help from you guys currently taking cyber security course
Great vid Bro💪 You're doing Great☺ I Just Subscribed, I'm an expert in audio editing and I noticed some audio gate issues in your audio, I think you would need to perfect a tiny little bit more on your noise cancellation software system to bring more fluidity/smoothness in your audio.
I have created a Smart Home IoT network system in Cisco Packet Tracer. I want to know how to create an attack simulation model for the smart home IoT in Cisco Packet Tracer(CPT). Is it possible to do attacks and prevention simulation CPT. If possible how to do it and please provide me with some reference links or documents for it.
my question is when setting up a network on 2 or more pcs, a router, and a switch how. do u go by it, and also will the switch and the router b configured, if yes ho do u go about it. i really did enjoy this video. hoping to hear from u soon
Hello There. hope you are well. Just want to check if you have managed to release your official CCNA course? I believe you are about to release it on your website? Thank you
Sorry, I must have missed this comment. The course is coming along well. You can use the link in the description to register your interest and sign up to the pre-launch if you're interested. I hope to have it completed by the end of the year.
Thanks Pal, How to use this tool to document a design for delivering it to the customer? What kind of design diagrams/bleprints to use BTW? Thanks again Nessim
I have a question. If your setting up and configuring objects in Packet Tracer, can you connect the objects in software to real hardware on the PC (like a row of cheap PC Ethernet cards in the PC PCI slots) to emulate a "real Cisco switch" for testing and learning purposes?
hi i enjoying your course i just started networking wat i want to ask is the part of creating the ip addresse is it just a standard that the ip addresse has to look like what u have there or there is something that helps you know how the ip should look like

Good tip! Us brits can't handle too much heat 🤣

Thanks Ardent! You're absolutely right. When it comes to the CCNA, Packet Tracer has everything you need and more.

@CertBros I wonder how far can Packet Tracer take you in CCNP, still viable option for Certification or real equipment is needed?

Happy to help! Good luck with your studies.

Gotta say this was a great tutorial to get me into packet tracer, taking CTI-120 this year, u helped a ton!
The content and the way you deliver the concepts and techniques are so helpful. God bless you always in unlimited ways. Thankyou so much.

You're right. Packet tracer is focused on Cisco gear. For Fortinet and other vendors, you will be better off with something like GNS3.

This is the way.
Which tool do you think is more appropriate for students, packet tracer or GNS3 ?
Good evening, am new here, can I get the setup of the packet tracer to install it on my PC to enable practice the training
