people who are hating on Teri have you met her personally, have you ever been on set of DH to know whether she is or not, I'm not blaming as everyone are entitled to their opinion but never believe everything you hear unless it is proven
I understand that it looks bad especially when you don't know Teri or well with knowing I mean knowing her personality. She has a very distinct personality and she has always been like this even when she did Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. She isn't doing it to be a bitch you can trust me on that but when people do not tell you that what you're doing can come across as a little rude, you won't realize that you're doing something that can annoy others. She has a childlike personality and that comes with the naivity and also childlike behaviour here and there. That has always been a part of her personality and she has been able to put it to great use in her acting here and there but it isn't always perceived as pleasant, especially when you do not know her. So when you're totally objective and know nothing about Teri, this snippet comes across as her being rude, attention-seeking, in-your-face-rubbing but... That's absolutely not how she sees it. Now the adult thing to do would be to address her on it if it is bothering you and with you I mean her cast members in that same interview. I believe the tension may have arised because they didn't know her personality very well when they started working with her and who can blame them? But when you do, you know there's no ill intent. She's a great woman and in her Van Therapy sessions on UA-cam you can really see she's working on letting other people finish their sentences/stories before she jumps in but even then she still has her moments. Not because she wants to be in the spotlight but probably a reaction springs to mind and she wants to have that out before she maybe forgets or probably out of excitement it just gets blurted out. We all have that and she probably has something like that which makes her like that. In 2018 she had an interview at a comic con with Dean Cain for the 25th anniversary of Lois & Clark and she talked over Dean every now and then as well. I think when they're at their signing booths you can really notice it but he doesn't really seem to mind. He has known Teri for so long, he probably has been aware of her being oblivious to it all this time and knows she doesn't mean anything ill with it. Anyway, like you've said.. We all don't know what went on on their set or how many misunderstandings have taken place or what other factors had a hand in this. The only thing I know is that Teri was put in the middle of pictures and was really made to be in the spotlight (not per her request) and that really ticked off the other cast members but she didn't ask for that but in their defense when you work such long hours I do get how such things really can get to you. They probably wondered why she didn't speak up about it herself but there are so may sides to take into account. Teri had been out of the game for quite some time. She hadn't landed any big role for years and to be treated after all this time like you still matter just as much must've given her some form of gratitude, appreciation, and confidence. Positive feelings overriding the insecurities she had.. Shooting down its source isn't something many would do when they suffer from the insecurities of being out of the game for so long. I think eventually it was all taken care of but that's the only thing I know about. There must be more but we don't know about that because they all wish to stay silent about it which I will respect by not making further assumptions. I just hope all 4 of them have worked it out. There is more than just one side of a story and you'd think DH would've taught us at least that much but people are quick to jump to things which is very unfortunate.
6:05 to 6:10. Notice how Teri tries to joke with Eva, but Eva just laughs along to be polite and continues listening Marc. Teri on the other hand is finding her own joke the funniest and stops when she discovers that Eva isn't laughing as hard as she is.
I feel angry knowing that our mothers, sisters, aunts and girlfriends have to learn this silky smooth way in their life as a necessity. That's so not right. My apologies on behalf of every man on this planet.
I just watched DH last month and ended up loving it (I always looked at it with a sense of superiority as a silly little show, but I was wrong. The depths it delved it kept me coming back for more). So naturally, after I was done, I started researching the actors, their stories, I wanted more. I was surprised to hear that Terri was difficult and not liked and accepted it as something that had to be true, if repeated by so many sources. Within a short time, and especially when watching the dynamic at interviews like this one, I noticed that things were off. Terri might be unique and not what the other girls considered likable, but I find her to be authentic to her true self. The other girls, on the other hand seem to be creating a front that she doesn’t fit into. I myself heard the “we are the girly girls” talk and more often than not, it’s those women that silently bully and exclude, in the name of friendship and girl support of course. Eva is clearly playing the cool girl image to the core, and does not truly connect with the director, but knows that she will benefit from him in the long run. I’m with Terri and believe she was the one excluded, while being blamed for being bully.
But they are like best friends and he tells openly that he is gay.. i dont see what the problem is 🤷🏻♀️ and she touches his hand too.. we can judge without knowing sometimes we all do that 🌸❤️
Marc Cherry's hand on Eva Longoria's leg is creepy. Terri Hatcher's eyes on them the entire time and then her comment on how he has "his hand on everything." So messed up. Great show but no one needs to put up with that creepy behavior.
Kathryn Joosten in one of the last interviews (btw very interesting interview, you may find it on the internet - not yt) that „Teri was the friendlest” for her and for the crew. Nicollette was difficult and always late and general main cast was focused on themselfs and theirs look.
We will never know what truly happened on set but that’s not what the crew said tho. Screenwriters said Teri didn’t make them feel welcomed and there are many pics of the crew with the girls that are very telling. Kathryn said Eva, Marcia and Felicity didn’t interact with the other actors which just can’t be true as they’re friends with almost all of them and they all said the opposite about them. Kathryn also admitted she didn’t really know any of them including Teri. It doesn’t really make sense.
She can't, she NEEDS to be the center of attention all the time. For instance, Eva wasn't done speaking but Teri interrupted her "I think blablabla" ... Nobody asked you Teri ! Wait for your turn. And it's pathetic who she does her suck up to Marc Cherry to make Eva look bad "But Marc works a lot he might want a break blablabla".
Yes Teri is annoying she is nervious in so many ways. Just like me. But that does not mean, that she is bad person. All those people, like Eva and others just dont understand her behaviour sometimes. That's why probs she is missunderstood often. Teri do amamzing things and she is ammazing as Eva or other actresess.
And now with the open letters from Eva and Marc, it's safe to say the rumors are true. Teri was difficult and completely stopped talking to her co-stars during season 7. This interview is for Season 6.
No. Marc was talking about a guest star. Besides, if that was true then he'd be a hypocrite. One the final day of filming he gave Teri a basket of treats. Why no one every mentions the Vanity Fair shoot in 2005 and all the anti-Teri demands ther actresses had?
@@KanadeLapis do you even realize how dumb it sounds? You're implying that every person in the world is her friend except Terri. Do you really think she was friends with every person on the set? That's naive. It was stated to be a guest star anyway so definietely not Terri.
