- Lexx was pretty good for seasons 1 and 2, season 3 was a mistake where they just kept doin stupid crap that got them stuck on fire and water and never went anywhere, series 4 they made the profound mistake of setting the series on current day Earth. Sci-fi's always suck when they do that! Talk about low budget. The last episode or 2 were pretty good though.
Anyhow here's a compilation of all the clips where Kai gets showed towards a piano and he ends up jamming with a bunch of folk musicians. I loved it.

A bunch of Irish folk musicians playing the Brunnen-G battle song with Kai is one of those cases where something is so ridiculous and absurd it just can't help but be awesome.

Honestly, the most underrated and underseen sci-fi show in the world. Spread the word, folks. Lexx cannot be forgotten. Seasons 2 & 3 are astounding.

even after all these years, that song still gives me goosebumps.. and I don't know what you guys are talking about. in all the times ive seen this show all the way through, I've never once thought it had a single flaw. the only thing that bugged me was the zev change over.. but even that worked out fine.

Series 1 & 2 were my favourites by far, but there were some really good scenes in 3 & 4, and the final episode of the show brought me to tears when it first aired. Kai laughing at the irony as he did what he always did … it’s chilling and perfect. Prince was an incredible antagonist.
This show was schlock and cheesy as hell, and I LOVED every damn second of it!
tyrongkojy yeah, but it went kinda wibbledy in seasons 3 and 4. Fire and Water got boring before long and no sci-fi should EVER visit modern day Earth if it's not already set there... let alone a whole season :-(
Please, it was obvious they were going there. There was never a mention of earth prior, so OBVIOUSLY they were coming here. And as far as I'm concerned seasons 3 and 4 were still VERY fun. Cheaper, yes, the lack of budget was clearly showing, what with having so few locations and sets, but they managed to keep it entertaining enough to me. But then I love those fish out of water stories, with aliens commingling in an "alien" culture to this extent.

I had a crush on him for years. Which is why I watched every episode. He is a good singer for an actor :)
I think he is a pianist too. But yeah, he was hot. even good looking for his age now. But damn that dumbass hairdo...

Funny how "Yo Way Yo" already sounds kind of like an Irish folk song.
Its pretty obviously based on Celtic music. I think we know that. And the Brunnen G seem to be some sort of samurai

My favorite part of all of this is the fact that Kai seeded this song with these musicians with this very special song. But then they all died when 790 blew up the planet, it bums me out.

It is definitely in the top 5. Who can say which is best? Star Trek, Babylon 5, Dr. Who, Farscape. There are many top quality shows. LEXX is one of the more creative and heady, for sure! Very inspirational.

really wish there was a full brunnen g battle song SOMEwhere, without the background chatter noise and random lines of dialogue cutting in. just pure, unadulterated brunen g battle song.
Lexx was kind of cheesy but but it had bucketloads of charm. And charm goes a long way.
Fire and Water got boring FAST.
The last series made the ultimate mistake: they went to modern day Earth.
Michael McManus has such a lovely voice, it makes me tingly & sad at the same time :D
"LeXX" is one of the most underestimtated Series ever.
I really hope, that this Serie will become in 20 Years or so so "Cultic"? like the old Star Trek.

I just found this and i love it! I agree season 3 is stupid, but LEXX on the little blue planet is not so bad! ok, some episodes are, but don`t forget "the game" and the end! I could´nt believe it when after Kais dead the little Lexx appears - it stopped my tears right away

This episode really made me want to go to Newfoundland and get hammered. By the looks of things, Stud Man Stan got a good deal. King of Newfoundland sounds like an awesome job.
In my opinion 3 was a minor masterpiece. The pinnacle.of the series.

I thought season 4 was easily the funniest and most inventive season. Season two was more hit or miss although few amazing episodes. Have only seen few episodes from season 3. Planning to correct that mistake.
Totally awesome series, I was just as taken with this as the Hitchhiker's series.

@SamildanachEmrys I agree with your comment about S 2 but I found Season 4 the best due to constant entertainment from the US president and ATF but then again its personal preferences
I think this season was the funniest.I did not like it at first, but i had to watch it a cupple of times, and, i think it's very underrated, give it another watch, specialy the fluff daddy episode.
As the description implies and I agree too... I gave up on the show during season 3 because it went downhill totally. Sadly I missed a gem or two it seems... like this!

Sorry to break it to you mate, but the whole season 3 being stuck on Fire and Water. I spent the entire season waiting for them to move on to having proper adventures again, only for them to do their final series on Goddam modern day Earth. Series 3 was the start of a downward spiral
Season 3 was a one-trick pony. You either liked the premise, or you didn't.
Personally I loved it, but I can understand your disappointment if you didn't like Fire and Water.

I really liked season 3. I must be the only one. Season 4 was mostly garbage, thought, although the chess episode was so weird that I loved it.

@Daleksaresupreme1 Series 3 was the best? The first 2 series were loads of fun, they did what they were supposed to do: fly around on Lexx and have adventures. But getting stuck on Fire and Water was really lame. I spent the whole series waiting for them to go somewhere new. 3 was awful. They just had a contract to fulfil and no budget to do it :-/
However, this episode in season 4 was funny for these scenes alone.

Lexx suffered from the stupid Star Trek isolated episode style. I look forward to more shows adopting a more soap-opera continuity style like Breaking Bad.

I disagree with you on the quality of the seasons though. I'd say season 1 was good, season 2 varied hugely from very good to absolutely dire but had more bad episodes than good ones, season 3 was pretty good and at least more consistent. I think we can all agree that season 4 was largely horrible though. Talk about jumping the shark.

P. Trotta. It's a book duology, and in my channel I explain it thoroughly - I got the chance to read the books in portuguese as they were blowing up in Brazil and now they're out in English, and they've always been admiteddly a spiritual continuation to Lexx!

I only saw this all recently as I decided I'd catch up on stuff I didn't see all of when I was a kid. So I've been torrenting :-D Series 3 and 4 suck but the end of series 4 is really good so I'd recommend watching series 3 and 4 just to understand the end of the saga
