There's no such thing as "genrushing".
These are the exact moments I understand when needing to tunnel is viable. But we'll still see the survivors complain like they didn't try to easy their way out of the match

like if the survs want to their objective done fast, the killer should their objective fast via tunneling
I am not sure if its a region thing, a mmr thing, or both.. But I face squads like the two shown in the video often.. Its a little frustrating.. and Yea they ALL complain about the way I play because it was a direct counter to what they where doing. Because, you know.. The killer is just there to be the punching bag it seems.
That's why today I tunnel the heck out of a survivor if I know they are gen rushing me 2 kills is enough
Why am I the only one who dont have problems with survivors using good strats.... it's not like they have unlimited repair parts every game.... it's more fun playing against survivors like these at it makes being the killer alot more challenging as to just dominating most maps and 3+ kills every game..... if I want a real challenge I usually play survivor but if I wanna just receive hate messages and see salty people I play the killer side
New survivors seem to learn how to T Bag before they learn to drop pallets

Crazy how survivors can use any tactic to win, and get plenty of second chances. But killers can't tunnel or camp for the W

No way I could have ever won against that squad that’s an insane nemesis
the nemesis plays were alright but you can get that muscle memory relatively quick..all that matters is you learn how to manage your anxiety during chases.
what really stood out though was his blight play - he had at least 2-3 plays at the beginning of the blight match that turned the table upside down on the survivors; really nice control and strategic thinking; cool as cucumber while doing it, too..that's why I like watching him play.
survivor mains complain about tunneling when its almost necessary in these type of games
tbf, the Blight game, he had started good, ofc they had to start genrushing cause he got 3 hooks on 5 gens
Usually killers tunnel at 5 gens so it's valid complain but it just been made too powerful tactic for killers because if you do it at start of match it makes your chances to win far greater than for example going multiple hooks. How tunneling could be nerfed is to make survivors stronger in 3vs1 and weaker in 4vs1. Gens could be 120s in 4vs1 scenario but 60s in 3vs1.

@@pena380 it's a strat for a reason. Killers tunneling at 5 is like survivors gen rushing at 5. You don't see people saying killers should have 5 base STBFL stacks or pop if they lose 2 gens in 2 minutes. These starts exist for a reason.
@@teomcnasty first 2 gens don't really matter that much it's the last 1-3 that matters but if killer is unable to cause any pressure in that time well it's usually gg:s then... There is reason why there is 5 gens because usually few gets done pretty quickly but what matters is how killer does after that.
You are a very good killer and Im impressed how well you manage to juggle survivors while being gen rushed. Awesome
The key to beating gen rushing if you don't like using gen kicking perks is to immediately tunnel one out of the game because that's the only option that will give you more time. I know tunneling might not be fun for you and it sucks but you have to do it. Otherwise you'll have to deal with 4 people rushing 4 gens super fast. It's unfortunate but you have to play dirty to beat dirty tactics.
So tunnelling is the response to gen rush, which was the correct response to killer gen builds. Why not ease up on the gens (rush/anti-gen) from both sides and make better a experience? Tunnelling is just comp tactics, especially when high hour killers resort to pathetic strategies like that the secure the momentum, which is more common at higher MMR. Keep contributing to the BS and there will be more BS. Why bring No Way Out when killers could bring all gen perks and tunnel? So next time when getting outplayed, just own the insecurity and tunnel one out. Games will be won 9/10 times. Is it still gg?
Weak mindsets that can't accept a challenge just reminds me of my youth when my younger cousin would spam moves in mortal combat on the Sega. Alas we have spamming and tunneling: the last resort of a gamer with no faith in themselves and would rather cheese the game to feel "good" and win. Instead of trying different tactics or improving your favorite moments in the game (end game and hatch chases are top notch). Those who disagree, never change. I too am pathetic enough to explain the situation and continue to put myself in the games with npc gamers with no integrity. Also, that first squad was very weak in game, despite SWF being a trigger word for boosted killers. Y'all need a perspective and heads up, it isn't countless videos of players steam rolling big bad SWFs that are trash in the match. I think they should block the chance to see survivors pregame. It distorts the next match and creates entitlement and low-key stalking/sniping. End rant. 😏 Also, I'm an entitled survivor main. Could you tell?

@@DatMix that's what i pove to see, swf that are dogshit, gens popping all over the place and they manage to get out anyways dispite being dogshit in chase, which is why I'll happily press the tunnel button, theres no reason to treat a horrible team with respect when their doing crap like tbagging with off the record, which is all not tunneling actaully is, a sign of respect, other then that theres no reason not to do it.
Survivors can rush gens, killers can tunnel, turnabouts fair play, with that in mind it seems like the killer is often the better player here, regaurdless of what entitled survivor wants to say

That's rough if I have bad game like that everything goes after that I can play very dirty tunnel/camp unless I dominate right at the start.

I know we can all agree that Eruption and DH need a change, but I think that we also need a rework to brand new parts. That first game was just brutal and unwinabble for many people who just play the game casually
The reason moris and hatch got reworked was due to making games end prematurely.
It’s also the reason mori perks are getting reworked.
Yet they feel brand new parts are fine even though 4 of them remove 1 objective.
Its hilarious because I always end up against these squads who then said squads complain about tunneling and camping.

This is what tilts me in dbd. I play on console, and I sometimes play nurse or blight with nowhere near the skill cap you have and struggle against swfs like this. Any other kill I play is a guaranteed loss even if my chases are less than 20 seconds. With the new solo que update making every match harder for killer, it's getting hard to want to play any killer without map traversal or just tunneling. They better be quick with the balances for killer before they lose even more. Watch those que times extend waiting for 5 min to play a match for 10 min.
Further more the killer meta is absolutely the most boring and unskillfull gameplay I've ever seen. I refuse to camp a 3 or 4 Gen running to kick Gen perks on them until I see a mistake to take advantage of.
chances are you never met a genrush swf like this, d3ad sits at the very top of the mmr spectrum (capped as it may be, but still) so he gets the most tryhard tryhards in the game.
survivors got buffed constantly for at least 2-3 patches now, latest buffs will be even bigger when noobs learn to use them properly, making playing killer a chore and very unfun unless you really are way above them in skill and sweat every game.
at this rate, many many killers will just stop playing or switch to survivor; I've seen it happen even with killer streamers like Jae or FarmerJohn (and probably many more)..if bhvr doesn't start addressing this gap soon, the average killer will just say "fuck it" and quit.

I play against rush squads quite a bit I use the dredge.and I don't need to play dirty..but sometimes you gotta fight fire with fire remember in this game there are no rules.. adapt and overcome 😁

Events like this typically bring out the very sweatiest of sweat. Why I just focus on the challenges and use perks that reduce killer cooldown vs gen regression and slowdown.
Well, makes sense this is happening. As a survivor main, our (or at least my) logic is “You can’t activate your four gen-kicking perks if we finish all the gens first.”

@@Anthonyy751 You like literally can mindgame against Nemesis as well, dodge or make him respect. Nemesis don't have even near as much mobility and fast chases as Nurse. He's B Tier in every list. Go watch Otzdarva's list for example, there is more explaining
Nemesis is one of the weaker ones. Nurse or blight is best debending on map. Spirit is solid 3rd.

Fack7up is the streamer who bullied Otz 4 years ago when he was new, then got bodied by him 4 months ago when Otz was playing Knight and DC’d. I’m pretty sure this game was soon after and he switched killer in rage and was a face camping bubba 💀💀😭😭

These are the type of players who whine at the end of the match calling you the toxic one for tunneling lol
I recently got genrushed and the survivors where toxic to Me in the gates teabagging clicking there flashlights trying to blind me
I couldn't keep track of them beacuse they took me to a bloody corn map and I kept losing them through the corn
I saw the perks they had they had deliverance breakout dead hard and unbreakable
I only figure out they had breakout was when I found someone in a looker and they had a few teammates running in front of me and they wiggled free before I even got close to the hook
