Yeah. And a child born with a disability or who develops one is just as capable of doing great things with their life. All they need is the right care, support, and most of all love. Never giving up on them. Like Helen Keller, who was blind and deaf, but became a famous author and activist thanks to her teacher Anne Sullivan who didn’t give up on her. Not to mention Beethoven was deaf, yet became a famous composer. And Bethany Hamilton lost her arm, but she got back onto her board with determination and support from her family. In short, disabled or not, every child deserves unconditional love and support as they grow so they can become the people each of them was meant to be.

    My add on:
Ed ended up being more happy by having his actual daughter, the daughter he thought was his, and her actual mother as his new family. In addition to the divorce, Ed also filed for a restraining order against Cindy. Due to what Cindy did qualifying as child abduction, she had to pay a $10,000 fine, and was sentenced to four years in prison. Due to being permanently paralyzed and shunned by everyone, Cindy was forced to live the rest of her life alone and miserable.

Cindy was incredibly selfish for what she did. She treated both her sister and biological daughter horribly because they were disabled. Now she has no one and it serves her right.

Six months after the birth of my sister-in-law's second child I, during a visit, asked her if she planned to have any more children. An attitude of extreme annoyance came over her and she angrily spat out that she thought babies were dirty and disgusting. Later, when her and I were in a room with the baby she stared at him and said: "I'm not going to let you control me!" My sister-in-law is an identical twin. At their wedding her father said to my brother: "I hope you've made the right choice." Her sister has been a wonderful, loving mother to her children. Once their children were adults my brother divorced his wife. My niece is prone to bouts of depression. My nephew is OK.

Cindy was worse to her sister, Meg, all her life. I bet when Ed finally met her family, he learns more about what she did. Cindy's parents explained that they had to call the cops on her because this wasn't the only time she refused to help Meg and abandoned her. When Ed tells his in-laws that she was finally arrested and tells her where she is, they finally confront her. She notices Meg walking normally, albeit slowly and asks how she was able to do that. She taunts Cindy by reminding her that the day she abandoned her at the lake, her doctor rescued her and took her to a specialist who helped her gain mobility. It took months, but Meg was able to walk again and the specialist paid for the surgery. After Cindy left, their family's lives got better without her in it. Their parents were able to get back in their own lives and find better jobs. Meg was able to live a normal and happy life without judgment. Plus, she's now happily married with a man who truly loves her. Meg and her parents waited for the day that Cindy would pay for her sins and they didn't wait that long. Karma came to her in the accident and divorce for her cruelty. Meg and her family came to say goodbye to her because she's no longer welcome in their family anymore. When Cindy begs them to not abandon her in her time of need, her parents tell her off in the same cruel words she had said to them in her letter. She was better off without them in the past, now they're better off without her in their lives. They leave and Cindy is seen screaming out in anger.

I just ran across this video; much better than Dhar man and Sameer Bavnani. I am disabled and was adopted (before they knew of my disability) and they never rescinded the adoption even after they found that I was losing my hearing. I was and am LOVED by my family.
The only issue I have with this particular video is the backstory. The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed by Pres Bush in 1990; MANY public places are now required to be accessible. And we do now have outdoor wheelchairs that can get through beaches.
Finally, a small issue is that nurses and doctors would not be getting into a long list of what "might" have caused a health issue; they would run the tests as quickly as possible to have a clear answer and not speculate on "possible" reasons.

Idea: Baby was born with a very serious illness and has to spend four years of her life in the hospital, then she/he finally gets, almost better but the pharmacy gives her/him the wrong medicene and they sue for 20,000 dollars that the baby will get when she/he is 18, the money also will keep rising over the years, so it may end of being like 30,000. (This is story is about me btw) I hope it gets used!😊♥

I can understand the pain of Cindy. Having an disabled relative is not easy and sometimes nightmare. I live the same. People who don't live sth kind of that are angry with her can't understand. It can trauvmatized you.
I wish if she couldn't love her daughter, she could divorce the father immediately and never see her again. This would be better than switching babies and corrupt the lives including herself. I know this is also cruel, but her psychology is not good. This is a better choice.

Another example of reaping what you sow.
This should also serve as a lesson for parents to teach their children to care for their disabled family members not because they HAVE to, but because they WANT to.
That way, they won't have a Cindy situation.

The mom deserves a punishment for messing with medical professionals and other charges. Now, she lost custody of her child and has to pay services and divorced. The dad made a better choice to leave her wife because she never wanted to see her biological daughter and she doesn’t deserve to be a mother.
