I think you guys did a bang-up job. If i could offer two things that i think would be a real benefit to you would be, 1. You can really increase the angle of your screen. The vibrator will shed the rocks and the screen will filter when the dirt passes over assisted by gravity as well. 2. Put a hard partition between the topsoil and the rocks like the ones in your diagram. Also, put one on the back of the machine so the rocks won't get stuck under. These things will hopefully have you be able to dump a bucket much faster and greatly decrease your cycle time, and also make it easier to get the good topsoil out and remove the rocks faster as well. But again, these are two small additions to an otherwise fantastic build. Great work.
That is excellent. But i think the angle needs yo be more steep so the process goes faster. I need to get one of these. Do i have to make one or can i buy one somewhere?
You might want to make the holes in the screen bigger too if you do not need ultrafine dirt. Increasing the angle would takea lot of load off the mower and free gravity does most of the work.

We have the expanded metal laid on top and zip tied down so if we want finer or courser, the screens can be swapped out.
Do you have build drawings. ? I can cad one up but your design is exactly what I need to build!! I would pay for drawings and cut sheet!

If you put more angle on top screen it will work better .
What degree angle is the sift deck?
Not sure to be honest, we designed to adjust the angle as needed. What you are seeing there is any where from I would say 7-9 degrees
