Victor Owuso's statement was a sharp response to Agama's accusation of tribalism against the Busia government. It's so sad that to date, the npp and by extension Akans are still suffering from this tag. Very unfortunate if you ask me.

@saamens, I hope people can see history being recounted. This is a must-see for high school and university history students. We will refer to him as a walking encyclopedia.

I respect him a lot. But the difference between those who study in over seas and Dr Kwame Nkrumah is the don't mingle a lot .

To all nkrumaist and until the whole world wide knows the truth.Ghana first president Nkrumah inherited a rich nation in terms of natural resources, but lacking technological and managerial skills. However he became arrogant and embarked on gargantuan spending spree with no coherent strategies to replenish outlays from inherited assets.President nkrumah misruled and dictatorship, precipitated the army police coup to remove him from power and started a cycle of dictatorial military governments in ghana, culminating into the brutal AFRC and PNDC extermination of political opponents. The all powerful almighty God who spoke and things happened, didn't need six days to finish creation,he could finish everything one day or even a second. But just as in his usual humility came to earth and was brutally crucified on the cross, chose six days to finish creation. Why six days?Maybe God is speaking to mankind to finish one major project at a time,if we really want to do a great job.In a nutshell, had president Nkrumah allocated resources to achieve sustainable mechanized agriculture, before large scale imports substituting industrialisation diversification to the economy, ghana would not be importing food now.Farmers with modern farm equipments would require fewer workers and even layoff some existing workers, then large scale imports substituting industrialisation would become essential, since it would provide jobs for displaced farm workers and new entrants to the jobs market. The rush to industrialize shortly after independence, with a barely six million population, drew farm workers on farms located in remote areas without clean drinking water, electricity etc,to newly created factory jobs located in cities where all the modern amenities were concerntrated.Futher,if nkrumah had allocated resources on infrastructure developments across ghana, and allow his compatriots to carry on the good works he had started, the coup against his government would not have occurred and ghana would have had political stability to grow economically. The Europeans realizing the strong and stable government in ghana, would have been convinced that the black man, indeed can manage his own affairs and rethink their continue colonization of Africa,The need for ghana to give away 10 million pounds to guinea would not have occurred. In America, since the first president didn't become a dictator,America had the benefit of political stability to grow economically,Had America gone through political instability as ghana,America mighty not be a world superpower.

Oh sad Bempah. You don’t know what you are saying. Check the history properly and you’ll know the truth. Try to be impartial when you do and you’ll be pleased with yourself. Good luck.
