Edvin and Omar literally have the best chemistry. No hate to the Heartstopper boys but if you compare their video to this one you can clearly see how much more comfortable, relaxed, and playful Omar and Edvin are vs Kit and Joe. They really are Friends Best!

Heartstopper and Young Royals are kind of on a par actually. Both very well acted with excellent actors. Maybe being more sort of suburban Heartstopper full cast is easier to relate to but YR is extremely good and full of "raw emotion". Waiting for 3rd series on both in my home country!
I'd say, try watching the series in their original swedish language with English subtitles. You'll never get the exact same feeling unless u r watching it in swedish language❤❤ Dubbed versions(esp-english one) sucks a big time..

I can only agree with them. At eye level, yes, just the characters are different. The topics that are addressed in Heradstopper are "bullying and homophobia" and in YR a relationship between two worlds that clash with each other. Pure dram, rollercoaster. But otherwise both series played very well.

No it's not. Fan groups that understand nothing at all are out of control. Nobody kicks anyone else off their chair. The characters that are played are called the magic word “script”. With YR it was drama and the songs of Omar R. This series in particular gave Omar the leap forward he needed and got. However, friendships come and go. There was never any competition between the series. In addition, both series are under contract with Netflix, and Netflix would never tolerate that anyway. YR is a thing of the past, Herarstopper goes into the third round. Such lateral films are now curtains in the series industry.

I find it kind of weird they kinda speak English with more of an American tinge. I always assumed Europeans adopted more of a British English styled accent when speaking the language & coming from the same continent.
Omar has relatives in the US and he has lived there before & Edvin wants to get into Hollywood and has an American agent
Some do. It just depends on their teacher and what media they consume. A lot of Europeans learn british English, but adopt an American accent because of American shows

Nothing is dubbed in Sweden and most big English language movies, tv-shows and tv-series etc are from the US, computer games often have American eng in them and most English speaking people like artists or UA-camrs etc etc are from the US too so naturally Swedes will pick up more of an American accent. There are far less tv-series and movies from Australia and UK so even though those also aires on Swe tv it is much less.
And it's not like the UK is very close to Sweden, not that many travel there, most exposure to english is tv and music and YT etc.
