Looking at the Mark DV series, as a clean pedal platform.
Also, I’ve been trying to find a video where Greg Howes “tone” is emphasized, but I’m not finding it.
Lots of folks showing “their own” sounds, and that’s great and all, but I haven’t seen this head do a
Serious rendition of “His” tone. Even the videos where Greg is using it, I’m still not hearing/finding it...

luca secondo te come risponde in send return se si collega un rack digitale di effetti ambiente tipo Gmajor tc elettronics? spero non mangi segnale sorattutto nella canale distorsione!!!
Vorrei fare pure io questo acquisto ( mi interessa solo suono pulito x jazz, e un bel crunch e lead piu gonfio alla Petrucci) ma sono indeciso tra Little GH (ci metterei in front un pedale overdrive x boostare il canale testa, compressore, nois gate e in S/R rack digitale Gmajor + pedaliera midi per pilotare i canali testa e gmajor) oppure scegliere unica soluzione con il Multiamp, pero' qui troppi troppi effetti che non mi servirebbero.

So che il video è vecchiotto ma provo comunque: essendo il finale a transistor ci riesce a tirare fuori buoni suoni a volumi casalinghi, o ha comunque bisogno di essere spinta?
Ciao! Nella mia esperienza - ho avuto diversi ampli valvolari, anche di basso wattaggio (mi è rimasto un blues junior) e a transistor - non c'è modo di tirar fuori non solo un buon suono ma neppure un suono appena credibile a volume casalingo se non usando un sistema con un'uscita simulata. Il problema infatti non è l'ampli in sé quanto il cono che, per lavorare correttamente, si deve muovere. E se lo spingi anche solo per farlo muovere un minimo, ti porta già a un volume oltre a quello che in casa (dai tuoi conviventi o dai tuoi vicini se abiti in un condominio) è considerato accettabile. Se il cono non si muove, infatti, non riesce a produrre il range di frequenze per cui nasce. Non parliamo solo di frequenze: non ti dà neppure attacco, dettaglio, dinamica. Le uniche scelte sensate - a mio personale parere - per ottenere un buon suono (o addirittura un gran suono) a volume contenuto è l'uso di un simulatore di ampli (un plugin, una pedaliera, un preamp+cab emulator o, meglio ancora, con simulatore di finale e cassa...) collegato a uno speaker hifi o a un monitor da studio o un amplificatore a modelli fisici tipo Yamaha THR e simili. In questo modo è la simulazione a darti la pasta, l'attacco, la dinamica e la definizione che cerchi a un volume contenuto. Spero di essere stato utile. Ciao!

Suoni benissimo. Ma una cosa che personalmente non sopporto sono quei glissati veloci di un paio di toni che tutti i musicisti fusion sembrano obbligati a fare. Alle mie orecchie sono anti musicali, mi suonano come il gesso che stride sulla lavagna.Taglierei i polpastrelli a chi li ha "inventati"... Greg howe? :) Tolti quelli... suoni veramente alla grande tutto! Complimenti! Sono sicuro che in breve troverai anche una tua sonorità e fraseggio che ti distingua maggiormente.
