*Children need boundaries* and they will always try and stretch them. Teaching them life lessons will be more valuable than spoiling them with material stuff.
Children need discipline. Parents need to coach, inspiring, motivate them. Do not treat yr kids as yr best friend, they are not yr friends. And teach them the word NO. Kids mirror their parents behaviour.
RIP Carl, you are missed. Teach your children to humble, thankful, respectful, and strong. And of course to be nobody's fool. Material things is just that material.
