- i’m back! hello everyone! i hope you’ve had a beautiful summer and enjoyed the off-eurovision time (i missed sm!!) here is my ranking of ukrainian propositions for junior eurovision song contest 2024 which will take place in madrid ⭐️

MY OPINION ON THE SONGS:
SPACESHIP: i don’t have much to say because it is simply not my style of music. the quality is good and i can see ilia is passionate about what he does!
ANGELS CRY: i have to say angelina is very pretty and is able to keep people engaged in her song! she has beautiful voice but the song doesn’t stand out to me. i prefer the ballad-like parts over the upbeat sound here. i also love how they gave a song called ANGELS cry to a girl named ANGELINA (idk it’s charming to me lol)
HOME: artem is a powerhouse. he’s very eurovision-like and he could be a dangerous contender in madrid. he’s probably my favourite voice here and he’s a stage beast. my only complain is that i don’t really like the structure of the song-it’s hard to determine which part is the chorus, the verses. the way it’s structured seems a bit messy.
NECKLACE: zlata showcased everything i love about ukrainian entries! there are traditional sounds with a modern touch. she can sing beautifully and has such an eye captivating attitude which brings people in! i also liked that only the bridge is in english - it was better organised imo! if ukraine selects this one i think they’re a serious contender for the win!
UNBELIEVABLE: the song feels flat to me and the only thing that makes it stand out is anastasia herself. she’s AMAZING. i want to see more of her. i wish she had better song cause she is simply an unreal performer!
HARMONY: i personally love this song but i don’t think it would be a good choice for junior jesc. it sounds serious and not reallg suitable for a children contest. i love veronika’s attitude and i can’t wait to see how she performs life cause i have a feeling she can surprise us!
I totally agree with you on Harmony. It's my favourite out of all of these songs, because it's totally my vibe, but I feel like Home and Necklace would do much better in the contest
