I´m proud to be czech and that we have so many keens like Čurby, who are creating so many good sick things and people from all around the world are happy to come here.
If I had to choose just one festival in the whole wide world and rule out all of the others, OEF would be it. In my 54 years on Earth, it is truly the only place where you smile for nearly a whole week and no one judges you. Just like an absinthe-limonade infused family reunion where you can come as you are. I'll miss it this year....
that is so true! last year i went there for the first time. i stayed til monday and when sunday i went to the stage area in the afternoon, everything was already taken down. i almost started crying when i realised its now over.... it was really hard haha! i never felt so welcome at a festival. met 2 new good friends too and cant wait to get back together with them this year! hope you dont miss it this year. cheers!
Un orgullo y una experiencia inolvidable haber tocado en este festival en el 2012 y regalarle a Curby y a su hijo Lionel las camisetas de Boca y de la selección Argentina. Gracias por siempre Curby y Obscene Extreme
What a great guy with an amazing passion for extreme music Curby is. I love his honesty regarding his dependency. I don't understand grind core, I like more groove for example on the latest Carcass Albums or other heavy genres, but I deeply respect those people doing what they love and the respect within the scene. Great documentary!
Bro, this has been the best documentary about metal i have ever seen! Truly made by fans for fans, you can feel it each single second! I followed the OEF quite a while, but i never could make it... I have to get there.
This festival is really awesome and makes me feel hopeful about the human being and all the human relationships over the planet. This fucking world should learn lots of things with you guys. For me it would be a dream come true meet all you brothers and sisters in this fest. Cheers from Brazil and stay GRIND!!!!!!!!!!!!
this was heavily inspiring in many ways, im from los angeles (usa) grindcore, other extreme music and especially obscene extreme has impacted the world. one of my dreams is to attend obscene extreme it’s amazing in so many ways
Watching this after having played the fest a couple of weeks ago with my band Gendo Ikari, and I fully agree with all the positive sentiment here. Easily the best festival I've ever had the privilege of playing at-everyone is so friendly and welcoming, the line-up was incredible (I mean, getting to see Pig Destroyer and P.L.F. twice in one weekend?! Holy shit!), the organisation is top notch, we got fed and paid well... what else can you ask for? Left the fest with a huge amount of respect for Curby and the team running things behind the scenes. Dream come true to play and I'll be doing my utmost to go back next year. GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND
Thank you so much for this well made documentary! I've always been very curious about how this festival works and how the "vibe" is. Mostly all you see otherwise is just the extremely crazy audience stuff and some shows, but I wanted to know about everything behind and around the festival - which is exactly what you provided. Excellent work, thank you!
Wow! That festival looks like it would be so fun to attend. If I ever make it to Eastern Europe I will have to attend this. Hats off to Curby and Obscene Extreme.
Do it! It is totally worth it - the movie cant even describe the atmosphere! First time I was there in 2018 and this year it will be the second time :)
@@WHEELMUST this is cheap compared to other festivals, if you say not then you're just a cheap b*stard or come from low wages country , then i totally understand. Great docu, and sympathetic man that Curby.. Also a lot of HARDCORE PUNK bands that i Love played here: SWEDISH DBEAT PUNK bands.. So maybe next year 2021..?
@@WHEELMUSTYep 😬 but like I said, if you're from a so-called development country, with low wages (and even in a 'rich' country like Holland, we have low and very low wages nowadays: working class people being squeezed like lemons), then I totally understand that Euro 80,- is alot of money. But if you're from Western Europe, this kinda price is really rare. I would suggest put some money aside for this festival, every month a bit aside, maybe drink less alcohol and go less often to the coffeeshops to get grass 🌿😉😛 The price of OEF is almost similar prices that we had here in Holland, before we got screwed big time, with this EU and their expensive Eurocoin. Well enough to think about, after we all dealt with this Corona (bioweapon) plandemic. GOD bless 🙏🏽 Stay safe, healthy and sane 😁
@@hcpunkrockhxxx9247 Hi, i read your comment, let me tell you that 80e in argentina were i live, is the pre sale for a mainstream festival, is like a 1/3 minimun salary for a statal employee. My english is bad, but the festival is cheap even for a shit economic country as mine

9:50 hahaha. That dude. OEF is high on my list of things to do. Traveling from Utah will be quite an adventure, but I'm planning to do it, and I'm bringing my wife and 2 sons. This is my ideal family vacation. Curby seems like such a likeable person. And kids age 0-14 are free? Hell yes. So cool.
Por fin puedo estar en este festival .Será este 2024. Con una fecha redonda. Creo que va a ser algo grande. No está mal para empezar un nuevo ciclo festivo. Espero. Grind Erection.
