Hi, just found this reaction video when I searched for Nemophila -- they have really become one of my favourite bands in the last year or so.
Regarding how to pronounce the "e" in "Nemophila", either way is fine I think. The name is actually the Latin name for a flower, and as always with Latin pronounced in an English context, the pronunciation is flexible.
I think the next band you should look into is EPICA! They mix clean and hard vocals as well, although done by two different people, a woman who can dip into her classical technique but is also has a great high belt and an awesome soft natural voice -- and a man who does deep growls. I really recommend starting with the song "Consign to Oblivion" (live at Zenith in Paris), one of their harder songs. They also have some awesome softer songs, and if you check out "Chasing the Dragon" (live at Retrospect 2013, their special 10th anniversay show where they had a full orchestra and choir on stage with them) you can see both their ballad side and their heavier side inside the same song.

'Zen' (live), Oiran (live) and Dissention (MV) are some of their hardest and best songs
'Odyssey' is an incredible power ballad (80's style) while 'Life' is an emotional 'ballad-like' song sung in the video as a 'welcome back' to Tamu (drummer) after her maternity leave. Great songs that show the softer side of Nemophila.
'Ama-Te-Ras' is quite unique 'groovy metal' song and one of their best as well
A fun video is to watch 'Odyssey' (MV) first followed by 'Zen' (live) to contrast the two extremes of the group. 'Odyssey' is a power ballad with all clean vocals, while 'Zen' is a hard driving metal song with all harsh vocals all the way through.
