I bought one from Aldi and filled it with concrete to add weight so it punctures the ground all the way in. works a treat.
How did you fill it?
@@danwright8266 I filled in the open spaces with some timber slats bar one to fill and closed it with wire.
@@ramonmichaud3004when are you making a video?
my lawn is about 4inch tall and thick. it wouldnt work on mine at all
Cool, mine isn’t so works a treat on mine
Lol, you have like 200 sq ft of lawn? That tool isn't doing anything but riding on top of the soil and putting, at best, little indentations in the soil. I had one of these joke toys. You might as well just take a hammer and nail and start pounding the ground.
What if you slipped two 20KG plates through the handle for extra down force
Looks too lightweight like it might just bounce across the turf. Either that or you gotta put your shoulder into it at a awkward downward hoik.
Yeah I just got one and thought the same, thinking of some chicken wire or something then put bag or cerment in it
Thanks for the review. My lawn has been dry and patchy for the last several months and I’m looking into giving this a try. Could you do another short update video on how your lawn is looking now, or post a few shots on your Instagram?
Ian Smith hi mate, the lawns actually been ripped up since this was taken due to plumbing issues! It was looking great though.
Thank you. 2:17
Reviews of product (via your link) give it a mere 2-stars and say complete rubbish
Cool
"Welcum beck to my chennal" lol
😂😂😂 was waiting for that
They where recently on sale at Aldi for AU$19.00. Haven’t used it yet, my missus bought it. It think it will work great if you have soft soil which we don’t have. I have trouble pressing a manual 3 core aerator through our soil. The land was built up back in the 1930’s during land subdivision with crushed rock and building waste like clay and gravel with the occasional broken grass from a beer bottle.
You skiped the part on how to put the second wheel on the bloody thing. I cant get it to lne up!!!!!!!!
Hey Gail I built mine today and he missed a washer
But you just need to forcefully bend it
They’re garbage, spikes need to penetrate 6”-8” to do any good, use a garden fork
urbanmanc sorry mate, I disagree, I was looking at the lawns today and it’s done wonders!! The deeper ones of course would do a better job but for the price and a small yard - I’m happy!
I agree they are garbage. Chuck them in the bin along with those useless spiked sandles.
@@Hahehhwgajshah72726.. well my lawn is looking pretty damn good so i'm doing something right haha
Works mint! Chuck 10kg of weights (fit perfectly) on the pole and no more heart attacks either.
this Mooch dude laughed at my comment where I explained why these spike things are useless. Then he removed my comment and even his own comment, because he knows he's wrong, in many ways. lol
Love your boxer!!!
thought those were his boxers!!
Thanks - She's pretty cool
@@dskize1 haha Kiwis love their stubbies!
You missed the 1st set of washers between the wheels and frame
I built mine today
It goes from wheel> washer> frame> brass washer> spring washer> nut
Haha, still works a treat
Love your boxer! ❤
isnt she awesome!
And
And we have grass
Where is the before and after?

will you sell your aerator?
You can get a 20 dollar shirt mic that will keep you from screaming across the lawn through the wind at your camera.
I’ve upgraded my kit well and truly since filming this haha
Dude, feed your dog because I can see his bones.
Dude, she was a pup and if you’ve owned a boxer you’ll know how hard they are to keep weight on. She’s always had 800 grams of salmon and lamb a day, she’s much more filled out now
Hi there. Your dog is too thin. I think he needs a bit more food. Please consider providing him with more food. Being a fit dog is a good thing, but his ribs and bones are too prominent. Thanks!!
In Honor Of hi there, you’re wrong! She gets fed 1kg of salmon and lamb a day. The vets have told us she’s in the best condition and perfect weight for her size. You’re supposed to see the first two runs of a boxer. Before you give advice - check your facts
@@moochstyle7110 ignore the muppet, I've bred boxers for 30 years and shes fine
Lmao!
