I was a student of Tadashi Nakamura back in 1969 , SCHOOL OF SCIENTIFIC JUDO AND KARATE in Brooklyn , NY
Saw Nakamura sensei in person leading one of his class at his honbu dojo in N.Y.about 30 years ago.
Man was impressive,you can see his extreme conditioning hands from miles away.

Top? There is no top… u got kenji midori, tsuimatsu kosukei, kazumi, ryu narushima, filho, and a few more i forgot their names… they are all good
I'm wondering why Nakamura questioning late Mas Oyama about philosopy, Mas Oyama had achievement in his life, he prove by facing other style and defeated them one by one in his early age, now Nakamura came to Mas Oyama to learn he became also great student thus means he learned a lot being student why questioning the great Mas Oyama with such tremendous achievement in his life and Nakamura is just student.
For the simple reason that he respected his master.
But he saw what kyokoshin were heading and didn't like it
Masters are not gods and they should be questioned
The 100 man tournament, the isolated teaching (Kaicho believes all should be able to train, no matter if young, old, or even blind), the rigging of competitions by his teacher so japanese fighters only come out on top. Kaicho wanted to return to roots of karate, not get lost in macho power and brute force. But to be community minded, at peace with one self and to move with sincerity. That is Seido. It’s not only about karate, it’s about the character.

@@avimanyubanerjee2134 I m russian karateka on 11 years, but on the street help fight Sambo, Boxing is good, Kyokushin is not realy fight in the street, only tatami.
@@wellazaza9325 Look for other branches of hard-style Karate such as Shidokan Karate (Yoshiji Soeno's Japanese style), Vinicio Antony's IAKJ (International Assosiation of Karate Jutsu) and Daigaku Karate Kai for better examples. Their type of sparring is a lot more practical than Kyokushin because they include gloved punches to the head (e.g. Jiyu Kumite and Irikumi) and reintroduce grappling session into the curriculum like the old days before 1900.
