This is so cool!!! Not because it is an awesome robot but because of the possibility of farming utilities. Instead of having dozens of farm vehicles, we have a robot with lots of farming tools. We can set it to repeat repetitive tasks like cruise control.

There's no way this is "one of the most advanced robots in the world". I've seen a piece about this robot and its maker before. It's quite basic, is controlled manually and it moves around on wheels. It's like a giant toy. The maker said it could be used in disaster relief for doing heavy lifting etc but the thing moves so slowly. The Japanese use to be leaders in robotics but they seem to have fallen behind in the robotics and humanoid race.
There's a lot of hydraulic power behind it, but yes it's not a real robot, just a piece of equipment shaped vaguely like a person. There are way more efficient pieces of equipment already out there for rescue efforts. Best case, if it really can be extremely gentle with the hands, it might be able to physically pick people up without harming them, but probably not a risk you'd ever really want to take.
Nah, no need to worry until GM deploys a ultracompact fusion engine. Then it's a race on who can develop a mobile suit, armored core, or a Battlemech first.
That refresh rate on the cockpit monitors is unforgivable.
