    So, I have the Merc7, Enzo, & Poly! I can't tell you how many times I have to stop in the middle of playing something because my mind is blown because of the sounds coming out of my amp! Endless inspiration!!! I really can't thank you guys enough!

    I have convinced 3 fellow musicians/producers/composers to getting Mercury 7. Two of them also loved the Ottobit. All this when I'm yet to acquire my own ! Interactive controls, algorhitmic processing, very musical approach without of those digital screens with half a million options confusing myself in the midst of the creative process. Stereo 500 series would be perfect in studio, but this will double as inspirational resident on my guitar pedalboard. The Guitarist magazine introduced me to this product and then one little no bullshit add in the next reminded me to check it out. I'm not really GAS oriented person but Meris really got me going. Vangelis and Blade Runner still are big for me but there is something otherworldly spiritual in your products that I find truly inspiring. Good job ! Hopefully we hear more of these gems coming out in the future !

      Meris Oh man, I LOVE it! It is so flexible and sounds truly fantastic. I tried it with a Tele and it was magical. I haven't even tried it with my synths yet. I may need to eventually get a 2nd one. 😉

    HA! I'm here looking for a reverb pedal and i was aiming to find one that has that kind of 80's, Lexicon, Eventide, Allan Holdsworth type of vibe and at 3:58 you just so happen to play my favorite song of his. well played, my guy. i think that and the other gnarly examples have me pratically sold on getting myself a Mercury 7. Good stuff, Meris!

    Really love everything except for the pitch vector aspect. (pitched voices sound a little too "crystallized" for my taste, though it is nice to see a quality reverb come out that isn't just going for that ultra smooth software-type sound). Keep it up dudes.

    • @dvomk
      @dvomk 2 роки тому +1

      Different strokes for different folks I guess. The pitch vectors are what make the pedal for me, adding depth and complexity to the sound.

      Meris Hey! Y’all blew my mind even just with the demos I’ve seen so far. The polymoon looks/sounds absolutely breathtaking. But alas, I don’t have it yet. I’m saving up my pennies... but it will be mine, oh yes.. it will be 😎

    I love this, and would be all on board if I didn't have my Empress Reverb. However, I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the Ottobit Jr. When you plugged that into the Mercury 7, oh my god. It even nails that sample/hold effect!!!

      Just dry guitar straight into the Mercury7 pedal and straight into our 440 Preamps.

    could you frankly say what makes 500-series so much more expensive provided it is mono but the same topology? Or the converters quality are much different? I hesitate as I love 500 series and try to avoid pedal format, but twice cheaper for stereo version in the pedal form.. Where is the trick? :) thanks!

    • @MerisUs
      @MerisUs  7 років тому +5

      Sorry for the delay. Thanks for inquiring. The 500 series features precision balanced I/O, higher headroom, per channel discrete processing and best in the class signal to noise. The pedal is almost algorithmically identical. The swell function and stereo output on the pedal were retooled for live use. It depends on your needs. If you're a studio guy, I would go with the 500 series.
