Maybe I have grossly underestimated the power of classical music, but this is the first time when I started to cry bitterly while listening to a song. This, in spite of the fact that I don't understand the lyrics. Absolutely stunning - I cannot think of too many other performances that possess such transcendence and spirituality. Even the musicians who must have rehearsed this many many times seem transported by the music - especially that curly haired guitarist who is becoming my favorite band member! Truly something magical has been created and captured here.
That curly haired guitarist name is Omran Shafique, along side coke studio he.s also is a member of a band called mauj , very catchy songs in his band as well , he has very strong body of work all these years ,playing for different venues and artists ,
This is like sitting with God on a distant star, seeing the earth from very distance as a shining blue marble while he is telling you how n why he created it.. Beautiful.. although I do not understand the language apart from urdu in between... but like they say music has no boundaries!

I keep coming back to this one among all of the great coke studio tracks. This one and Mundari by Sir Ustaad Sami are beyond soulful. These tracks are like good friends. Love it!
Rohail Hayat and Coke Studio Pakistan have brought together the musical instruments and talented players from all over the world with some singers I had not heard of before but the setup and this orchestra boosts their talent to the highest level. This is revolutionary and ingenious in the musical industry and will be instrumental bringing the world together to enjoy musical creations like these regardless of knowing the language of the song. Great creativity!
This is just beautiful, after Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahib these are the best vocals & their execution that I have heard in a long long time, both the singers have beautiful voices. The poetry is awesome, it so much comforts me of the return of my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Wonderful!!!!
takes heart & soul straight to Source where ALL is well again, all is healed & restored, all is love, comfort, peace. can't get any closer to Him without losing my physical body. intense, alters my reality. ecstasy!

WHAT WONDERFUL MUSIC FROM MY MUSLIM BROTHERS IN PAKISTAN. AFTER I SAW AYAZ FAREED IN "THE RELUCTANT FUNDAMENTALIST", I AM LISTENING TO PAKISTANI TRADITIONAL MUSIC EVERYDAY. I LOVE THIS MUSIC WHICH PRAISES ALLAH AND ALSO SOOTHES MY MIND. I AM A CHRISTIAN AND BELIEVE ALLAH IS ONE. WE HUMANS SHOULD LOVE GOD AND LOVE EACH OTHER IRRESPECTIVE OF OUR RELIGIONS OR CULTURES. IN ANY CASE I HAVE WORKED WITH MUSLIM PEOPLE IN MANY COUNTRIES (I USED TO WORK FOR THE UNITED NATIONS) AND I TRULY LOVE MY MUSLIM BROTHERS AND CONGRATULATE THEM ON THEIR DEVOTION TO ALLAH - THE TRUE AND ONE GOD AND ALLAH AND JESUS CHRIST - THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD

India and Pakistan have more in common than differences. I pray that a day comes when the only place they fight each other is in the sports field and nowhere else. btw, in addition to everything else, the bass is excellent!
God bless you
THE BACKUP QAWWALS TOO ARE REALLY AMAZING!!
Khabaram Raseeda Aamad
اللهم صل على سيدنا محمد وعلى آل سيدنا محمد و بارك وسلم
The rendering is incredible. Gems of our subcontinent. It elates and now I know what Sublime is.
This one is very good but does not even come close to the original one that they delivered with their father.

I keep coming back to this one among all of the great coke studio tracks. This one and Mundari by Sir Ustaad Sami are beyond soulful. These tracks are like good friends. Love it!
try 'Rung' by these guys.......thanks me later!! 😉
Wonderful!!!!
takes heart & soul straight to Source where ALL is well again, all is healed & restored, all is love, comfort, peace. can't get any closer to Him without losing my physical body. intense, alters my reality. ecstasy!
We have been divided by Angreji/Hindu Raaj, you already are part of my souls soul. Thanks.
Rohail Hyat was a gem. He needs to be back in Coke Studio...
They can simply hypnotise you for 16 minutes..

Thanks for nice words, that is a true humanity.
Incredible. These masters of vocals express such beautiful, haunting voicing, it leaves me speechless every time. It touches the soul in a timeless profound way.
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan ke baad aap ke hi ghazal hai jo main shauk se sunta hoon and jinki, awal darze ke qawwal ke roop me, saraahna karta hoon!!❤️🙏
I was so disappointed to know that new season of coke studio did not feature these guys, they are the cream of Coke studio for me. These guys, Sain Zahoor, Chakwal brothers, Arif Lohar are the best finds of Coke studio. :) Peace.
i would die to this
Joseph Coughlin still listening in 2018 ?
This is heeling my wounds
Cool Anum converting my wounds to source of light!
What makes this 16 min journey a masterpiece is the astute basswork by Kamran Zafar. Hats off!
Non so se dipende dall'età o dalle mie origini ma questa musica mi prende!
