Yep, he had always been known for having great tone. But the Mesas have that sweet gritty grainy sound. Like sand is pouring out of his amp as his plays lol sounds wierd but thats how I imagine it sometimes.

Yea even the finished product for the "DVD" that they released was weird. If I had to guess It was the Venue. I assume their Audio Guy/Gal Is pretty good at their job but just had to deal with the recording In essentially a vacant store on a main road lol, can only treat It so much.
