S. N. Tandon, fully Satyendra Nath Tandon, was an Indian Buddhist teacher (acharya) of the Vipassana tradition.
A member of the India's civil service, Tandon served as deputy home secretary in the state of Rajasthan. He was also a self-taught Pali and Sanskrit scholar, and a disciple of the S. N. Goenka, the Burmese-Indian teacher of Vipassana meditation.
Tandon is the author of A Re-appraisal of Patanjali's Yoga-Sutras (1995) and Patanjali Yoga Sutra (2003)-interpretations of the Patanjali's Yoga Sutras in the context of Buddhist teachings.
Dharma means the natural state or condition of beings and things, what sustains, the law of their being, what is right for them to be, the very stuff of their being.
