I must admit Jason, it was the most unique experience I have ever had!! Looking back I find myself more fearful of the experience, 😂 but Edd is a wonderful pilot of this unique vehicle and has been maneuvering it all over the world for decades!! I hope more people get to share in this wonderful experience!

It's not everyday you see a couch passing you over the Golden Gate bridge 🌉 that's nothing but fun, my stomach would be killing me, I'd be laughing the whole time, I'm laughing now, that's the coolest ride ever....

@aaron hagar Thanks for the follow up video. I didn't realize the plants were real? Presumed they must be fake to withstand the wind? Also that the pizza was the steering wheel. Lombard made me think of riding a dirt bike down a steep hill. Keep your weight back or you go over the handlebars! haha. :-D

Heeey Derek!! Niiice. Yes indeed, I wish I too could tour the internals of the couch. I know it's a1275 Mini Cooper with an auto transmission. Obviously framed and modified. Constant cooling and air exiting the rig with custom fans. The controls are genius!! It was such a joy to ride through the city with Edd! Incredibly stable during relaxed driving, I just had to keep the "what if's" well out of my mind!! Ha ha ha. Sorry, I did not realize his website was down. It was the only ref I could find to show his other builds and promote his genius ;) See you soon my old friend, missing Maui! Cheers and Aloha!
