You didn't mention how the rear seat bag (Looks like a Kriega US20) secures to the pillion seat?
I purchased the kit to secure my US10 bag but it only connected to the front 2 bolts that hold the pillion strap to the pillion seat. The rear "T" strap that is supposed to loop around the seat bracked actually prevents the seat from being secured and the strap obstructs the indent that the rear hook under the Pillion pad actually is supposed to go under?

It secures to passanger handles with 4 straps. I also use a single zip tie for peace of mind since the straps kind of suck.

Any issues since you’ve had the bike? I’m looking at getting the 23 RSV4, but the reliability issues I see here on UA-cam are a turn off.

Great overview of the bike and mods. One thing I was wondering (actually 2) is how is it on stop and go riding in terms of the engine temps rising? I've heard can be an issue even when the coolant mix is correct and also I was wondering if the issues? you mentioned in another video were resolved and you are happy with everything now. Thanks. Oh .... just looked at a grey standard and a factory recently. Tricky decision between the two versions since I like the electronic suspension (heard it can be adjusted to be compliant/smooth on rough/broken pavement vs the Sachs) but like the pillion seat and its ease of installing hepco Becker bag mounts.
Thanks! I've been in really heavy traffic on very hot days and never had any issues with overheating and that's with the additional radiator guards. Yes I heard they messed some up out of the factory and forgot to dilute the coolant. They seem to have done mine right. Honestly if you have a big budget get the factory and just add all the touring parts on. Although the Sachs has been great for me.
Nice vid! I have the same bike. While idling today, my engine cut off. Temp gauge spiked in cool weather of which I’m not happy. Perhaps when I have it in for its next scheduled maintenance (KTMOC), I’ll have the rad drained and refilled? Any suggestions would be helpful. I truly want to like this bike; however, this heat thing has me bummed out. Thanks
Apparently many of these bikes came from factory with wrong coolant mix. So get that checked. also if you tune it with t800+ it runs the fan earlier and keeps temps lower. My bike always runs pretty cool.
Thank you. I too read as much on a Aprilia forum. The dealer is dragging his butt to make this right. You see, I purchased this 2022 in July of 2023 from the dealer. A new bike. I only have 500 miles on the bike. Could you recommend a service provider other than COKTM? My confidence in this dealer has evaporated. Pun intended. Cheers
