So, this is easier and far less painful than it looks. I’m no aerialist, but I’ve done bondage modeling where I was strung up by my long hair. There was no prep, no aftercare, and no need for either. She’s talented, though, and she’s got a solid gimmick (a hook, if you will) for her art form that’ll serve her well through the years. Do what you love, 🌬love what you do. More power to her.
I'm a nurse and I had to think about this. The popping sound she described is, undoubtedly, her scalp separating from her skull. I worried what damage this might cause, then the more I think about it, the more I think probably none. On a purely speculative basis, I'd imagine she won't have any circulatory or nerve damage... in fact, the stimulation might be good for the local blood supply. In brain surgery, the scalp is peeled back from the skull (yeesh) and generally recovers as well as any other area... having it peeled off completely has got to be more traumatic than some stretching. But this is an educated guess, I'm just spitballing here. Honestly? I'd be more worried about eventual hair loss from pulling on and stretching out the follicles.
The scalp popping freaks me out!

Ok, so... did you get the scalp "pop" that she described? I'm equal parts fascinated and horrified.
Rapunzel, eat your heart out 👏💖

NowThis is not news
Her skin will stretch not sure if she cares or not.
So beautiful !!! Please tell me how to weave hair correctly?
Yes, sure ! What could go wrong anyway ? 😶
This beauty could end up losing her hair and being baldheaded.
So beautiful
How would this pulling away of the scalp effect the blood flow to the scalp and could problems develop over time?
