On your OSCE, you will have either a live patient or manikin. If it's live actor, then you will have to do your pupil assessment to your live actor and whatever you get from when you do the assessment, that's the reading. IF you have a manikin, you are still expected to show the assessor how to do the pupil assessment to the manikin and they will usually give you the pupil size/reaction.
May i ask that so the charts are either GCSor NEWS2, how about in community scenario? And also do we have to bring our own pen light and watch? Thank you, love the videos.
It’s EITHER NEWS2 OR GCS - never both. For community, usually NEWS2 chart but it doesn’t matter because it will always be either or. As long as you know how to use all charts, you should be fine.
As mentioned at the start of the video, we added some tips that you may say or verbalise in assessment. You're more than happy to watch other OSCE videos that suit your preference. Thanks for droppping by to watch our video. All the best!

hmm so we can do assessment even not systematic to A-E? given that you start with BP measurement?
Hi. I think, Yes. Not necessarily in order but the most important thing is that, you included all the marking criterias in your scenario.
Yes, the ones shown in the video is one of many ways you can do Assessment Station. Find what works best for you.
Thank you for the video. Please, how did you come about with the size of the pupil
