Its good, but its basically a cover of a cover that Ryan Adams did as part of Whiskeytown back in 2008
@@jonlarge just listened and I honestly don’t hear the resemblance at all. This is a more folk take on the song while there’s more grunge in the cover you’re referring to. Great song regardless.

I’m always going to savour the original over a cover. There really is no contest. But what I think is extremely important to notice here is that we get to examine the genius of Stevie. To be able to write those hauntingly beautiful vocal melodies over what is literally two very simple guitar chords on repeat. Some people are musicians, others are artists.

Another change. The original in the middle has: “Now here I go again …”. This version has: “Now here you go again”. I prefer the original lyric in this instance.
I am surprised that when men sing this song they don’t change the line “Women they will come and they will go” to “Men they will come and they will go”.

Is there ever a cover that’s necessary? Or an original that’s necessary? Music is a gift for all to enjoy. As far as comments go, I find yours unnecessary.
Completely unnecessary comment....when a band does a cover like this...its because they like the song and like playing it...they're not in a studio doing 20 takes to try and sell it on an album to make money...its like when a band does a cover during a concert.
