That hood it's making much of a noticeable difference but it does look much better. He's running a new intake and fuel system. If anything that's why it's faster.
@@gorillajoe3384 it's not just because of a change to a stock nose clip. All cars are different front wheel forward. If they just went with the front wheel clicking the time clocks it wouldn't matter. Most street races line up with the nose of the car. At the track it the front wheel then using who's nose gets there first. So a car with a longer nose would have a slight advantage without it.
Id say prob not but it looks way better. You had like 30 radial cars go 3.70 and that was all different body styles. 1st gen camaros, fox body and sn95 mustang body styles, corvettes, different promod style cars and a 78-81 malibu
Aero is over played in drag racing. Obviously it's important but not nearly as much as many think. Also mph does always mean a faster ET. So many factors at play. Anyone that's been 8s or faster should understand what I'm talking about. Just like all the talk about Cleetus's car. People think it would be faster if the factory body was still on it but don't realize removing almost 700lbs is worth much more from the hit then shit aero thats gradual over the pass.
All that Procharged Hemi goodness makes Megalodon faster
Don't get any better than Megalodon and Goodview Va. Go past his house everyday.
640 mark thank me later
6:40 and 9:15 show Brent. Good video.
That new hood covers a whole new intake and fuel system setup
Same car my mail man drives exactly same setup also. No wonder my mails coming early.
Boy fireball really heated them tires
I haven't seen boosted Gt since he gave Chuck S. a tune up
he should be just a very little faster with the hood on because of aerodynamics

Wayne Bollentin ......I didn't know he was running another intake and fuel system..... thank you for the info
Can anyone tell me what are those things hanging on the front bumper of all 405 cars?
Dont know the name of them but they have them cause some guys are extending their front ends over stock .. helps even out at the finish line
Thanks for the information. Kind of figured that. Small cheat for an edge

Wayne Bollentin .......I'm with u on cleetus's car the body would make it slower. That car is pretty fast considering it is a stick shift.
No sense in the big funny car burnouts.Waste of the motor and the tires but my guess they don't have to buy either. Street outlaws is phony.
richard Turk this dude is beating the best names out there.. I’d say he should keep doing what he’s doing
