i have the Gentle tarot (in a tin) and big guidbook, such a positive and comforting set. Also I would include to this "soft decks" the Future Ancestors tarot and Everyday Witch tarot. Best cozy, supporting, soft oracle is The Sacred Creators oracle. That is my current list.😊
right? the gentle tarot is such a gift, a balm to the soul. oooh yes i would love to have the future ancestors as some point, or maybe work in line with that idea. the deck is so rooted yet soft from what i’ve seen. i never thought of the sacred creators in that way, thanks for sharing! 😊

mmm i really appreciate your thoughts here… i still have much to discover with the deck but when i used it for daily draws it was so supportive for me, likely bc i needed that at the time. i can totally see how they can be more intense teachers in different contexts, plants aren’t all soft & comforting! i’ll definitely be exploring that perspective with the deck soon. thanks so much for being here and sharing 🖤🖤
hmm that's interesting...i would say a few certainly are comfort decks, but it all depends how you define comfort decks which i'm now realizing has a lot of range! for me comfort decks are ones that i would reach for off the top of my head in a moment of need - not a lot of decks would make that list, and they would change depending on the need. then soft girl decks being ones that generally feel in line with self-care and sensory delights.
