    Great new video,Austin! The roof looks great from a non expert. I am sorry you have to deal with idiots like those people.

    Chase the competition away with lower prices and better quality, and your business will flourish. Build better, once your established, prices can increase. you now have a reputation you must maintain. Good luck!

    Good to see you again! I am glad you were able to help fix up the Potter’s house. You strive for perfection and I am sure you are appreciated in your area. I enjoy learning about construction. Sending greetings and appreciation for your work ethic and your serious outlook on your projects. You pronounce garage like my grandfather. Thanks for the reminder.

    Sorry that you're experiencing harassment from other contractors, but it goes to show how well you're doing. You know you're serious competition when the people start trying to find ways to sic OHS on you to get you shut down. The roof looks really good. I haven't seen a lot of metal roofing since I moved to AB but it was common back in NB because it sheds the wet eastern snow well. I'm so scared of ladders I felt like I was going to fall out of my desk chair for most of this video but it was nice to look down on that gorgeous garden. Good for you for making sure you walk through it any more than you had to. 👍

    That was so scary! Nothing to hold onto, I don't even know how you get on top of the roof. I'm not even that scared of heights but it seems like they'd do this with machines and/or scaffolding here.

    How come they needed a new roof? I thought metal roofs were supposed to last a really long time. That one didn't look bad (to my eyes) and the wood underneath seemed to be in good shape. Just curious.

    • @AustinTischler
      @AustinTischler  3 роки тому +3

      I guess I should have mentioned it was an insurance claim after a hailstorm. It didn’t need to be replaced in my opinion, but I guess if the insurance company is going to pay for it why not! I would have at least switched up the colour though lol
