Idk with these people...they look up to too much on physical aspects of a person..Shen Yue is beautiful, smart, talented, and most of all kind- hearted...also, she is a degree holder...the only thing that i see why people consider her an ordinary girl is her height...5' 2" ? ...she's not that small...there are other actresses who are of the same height with her...still, there are those who are taller than her but they are not like Shen Yue..I don't think the director is not that stupid to choose Shen Yue for the role...she is the right choice!

As a european I am shocked when I keep hearing people call her ordinary. For western beauty standards she has very nice features. Big eyes, long lashes, full lips, beautiful bone structure etc. I guess it just shows how different the standards are around the world.

Yue Yue is so cute and humble. She is my #1 and favorite Chinese actress. I feel like some of the questions and things said i this interview were related to the scandal with HYT. Specially when she talks about being ordinary. I find her so pretty. It’s sad. Although I read that the culprit of the scandal (the girl) admitted later that everything was made up it looks like it had a big impact in SY. I later read some articles that HYT also struggled at the time because of the scandal and was treated badly in some sets. It’s really sad because they got along so well during ALSB and many of us (fans) wish for a reunion between them. But YueYue is so hard working and positive. I’m really happy for all her achievements. I can’t wait for her next drama with Jasper. Definitely, I will keep supporting her works.

But it wouldn’ be the first time an actor and his team pay the girl to say it wasn’t true, I saw the videos and hear the clip when he was talking crap. People said it wasn’t him but it did sound like him. He has a very distinctive voice.
The girl didn’t say that it was made up. She just admitted she did release all of it for clout/fame. The voice recordings were unfortunately of HYT. She just said she “fixed” it together as if it’s a full conversation.
The rest of ALSB gang (WangZiWei, SunNing,GaoZhiTing,ShenYue) minus HYT, are still going strong up to now, still very good friends.

I don't usually pay attention on the actresses but her acting looks really genuine and flowing even on the start of the 1st episode of the drama and i only watched CYLS btw. And her vibrant smiles every time will confirm your eyes that there is nothing pretentious in her acts. She may not what generally people say a killer with seductive looks and body type but when you see her far or up close, gosh she's a beautiful angel and to be able to saying these while i'm a straight woman myself, she's indeed an adorable person you can't walk pass through without re-looking or eager to see more :)
