Gosh darn it, can't believe we are freaking here. I'll be honest boys I had been paying attention to Jets Super Bowl and playoffs dreams and now I'm back to my regularly scheduled NFL Stock Exchange Jets Draft content. Here we go
@@TampaBayTre love the deep dives on how franchises get to this point too. Super interesting. As a falcons fan I expect my franchise to be included in these segments regularly haha
You can’t fix the owner. Plain and simple. We’ve seen this many times in the modern era - everyone doing their best to imagine a better team, but forced to ignore the obvious problem. You guys are amazing though! Appreciate the effort.
Appreciate it! We love getting the chance to really get into the detail. We’ll get to the Browns, but Jameis is fighting it off like King Leonidas in 300
Man, I'm a Falcons fan from Brazil and I have been listening to you guys since October of last year. Unfortunately since I don't have a college team to root for, I don't follow College Football that much on Saturday's (also because I have a marriage to keep 😂). But man, your content is awesome for a draft guy like me, really really like your analysis and how you approach every single topic in all the different types of episodes that you guys have. As a podcaster myself (talk about the Falcons for the Brazilian fans) you guys are for sure a great inspiration and role models for me on that area. Keep up this excellent work man! Excited for the 2025 NFL Draft!
Funnily enough, the suggestion that the Jets need someone louder than Aaron Rodgers made me think of Mike Vrabel. For all his faults, he might be exactly the kind of take-charge guy needed here. He'll rub Rodgers the wrong way So Badly Rodgers' rhetoric will get crazier. But if it yields results on the field, everyone will ignore it.
I mock drafted based on the assumption that Rodgers retires. It went down like this: #4 - Cam Ward #35 - Colston Loveland #95 - Omarr Norman-Lott #109 - Bradyn Swinson #145 - Kyren Lacy #182 - Luke Kandra #208 - Nohl Williams #221 - Xavier Scott
Would love to see more rounds in the mocks, feels like the 4th and 5th rounds are still super important in these cases and wouldn't take considerably longer to do. Love this series -
Trevor and Connor are probably the sharpest NFL guts on UA-cam. Trevor made a video series called “Hear Me Out” Episode 1 was if the Jets kept Sam and traded the pick
Love it! I think a fun series would be “Finish Your Franchise” this would be for teams that are on the cusp. Either playoff teams with a young QB (Texans last year) or playoff teams that could make a few additions and be a real contender.
Quite literally just here to reiterate that yall dont have enough subs. There are way way way worse channels with 5x what yall have. Just remember to promote yall sleves non stop. Yall deserve a lot more love and recognition than yall get
My Own Plan GM - Someone with a Spine Coaching Hire: Aaron Glenn + Lions current Pass Game Coordinator Tanner Engstrand to be OC (Realistically Ben Johnson/Bobby Slowik say no) Also Rodgers is around in this because I don’t see him being done yet. Free agency: Same idea as you two, Poona and Lopez and MORE for the front seven. A few guys would certainly follow the staff as well, like John Cominsky and Onwuzurike. 3 round mock draft results: 4th overall - Travis Hunter(how tf?) 36th - JT Tuimoloau 68th - Harold Fannin Jr. aka Best TE in the Class
This Video makes me so split. Love to hear yall talk , especially about my jets. But even with my doubts about this year I didn’t expect a collapse like this.
I'm a Packers fan and some people think that our DC Jeff Hafley who was the Head Coach for Boston College last year could be a good Head Coaching candidate, but it might be a little early for him. As an OC, our former WR Coach and now Passing Game Coordinator is Jason Vrable and is ready to be an OC at 39 years-old. Every WR he touches turns to gold, and like I said, he has that Passing Game Coordinator role, which is a stepping stone to become an OC. He also has ties to the Jets because he was Offensive Assistant from 2017-2018. He has a history of working with QBs in college and a little QB and RB work in the NFL, but has mostly been a WR guy. They actually took his WR Coordinator role away to bring in a new one, which tells me the Packers expect Vrable to move on to be an OC soon.
I did one of these deep dives with my Eagles. My three round draft: Cameron Williams (#24), LT Overton (#56), Tyler Warren (#73), and Jihaad Campbell (#88)
This is the perfect treatment for my bleeding eyes after what happened in Gillette yesterday. This and Badlands of course. Appreciate it guys, cheers to the next yacht
I can’t tell you how much it warms my cold black heart to not hear the Lions mentioned in the “haven’t made the playoffs in 84 years” conversations anymore…
This jets team reminds me of tampa bay in the last Brady year. You look at each player individually and the majority of them arent performing objectively bad but they are just NEVER always locked in at the same time. If Rodgers makes a good throw the WR drops it, if a WR gets wide open Rodgers cant hit him because the blocking fails, when the line run blocks well the RB screws up, when the RB is locked in the line cant block. Its disjointed, constantly. It feels like everything is so complicated with them, when they should have enough talent to just go out there and execute. A very large portion of this comes down to Aaron, the cloud he puts over a team wether its intentional or not. I wont ramble any longer but man its a fascinating situation. You could quite literally write a book about this team, probably a damn good one.
The Lions did something similar to the "President" role with Chris Spielman. He was brought in as an advisor to help find the next head coach and GM, and he was amongst the group who chose Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell.
Fun fact - Greg Zuerline making the game winning field goal last year in week 18 broke the strength of schedule tie breaker to give Washington the #2 pick. I am forever indebted to Mr. The Leg.
Noted Badlands subscriber and had to dive in to NFLSE covering the disaster of the New York Jets for my introductory episode. I know you guys covered the Penn State TE in the second mock draft, but knowing the stench of the TE room and with Conklin being a FA, who are notable acquisitions you can see this team making to try and revamp the TE room?
Hey guys, been listening to your content for about a year now, all the way from Singapore. Kinda hard to follow the draft from here so I appreciate your content and it means a lot to me to find draft nerds like me here. Anyway, what do you think are the chances that Aaron Rodgers pushes the Jets to hire Mike Mccarthy if he gets fired by the Cowboys?
I think Aubrey Pleasant is a defensive coach. He is the passing game coordinator in LA but is that the defensive passing game coordinator? Since his background is as a secondary coach.
Yo connor my brother is thinking of trading away davante adams in fantasy is that a good idea? Standard ppr format. Who would be some good guys to target? Who would be some of the top guys in points rn to avoid? He wants to trade for drake london.
Next year has to be a tank year. Gotta reduce cap liability by trading vets and starting Travis or a mid-round rookie. The next GM and HC need a wide lane to operate in, because this team isn't ready to win until 2027.
It’s interesting how the mocks are so different here compared to when I run them. Simulator REFUSES to draft QB round 1 for any team when I do mocks for the Bears
Conner definitely is the best Jets analysis and I think the jets need to rebuild the physicality of the defense and add size and mass period. The Jets gutted there interior and saleh but in players he liked from the 49ers instead of maintaining the good DT they had.
Woody has hired different firms/people in the past to select GM/coach, i.e. Charlie Casserly picked Mike Macaganan, and I forgot the firm that hire John Idzik
I agree if you don't go with Carroll, go with Dorsey as president of football ops and then Gm of Borgonzi since they have history being both from KC so there would be continuity there for communication purposes. I don't think if you're looking at doing that kind of hierarchy you can't go after Vrabel or Belichick with how they are wanting a hybrid role of HC/GM. Then of course top candidate for HC would be Ben Johnson in which will also help continuity since Dorsey being with Lions has experience there with Ben. The second candidate in my mind would be Joe Brady from Buffalo since he has experience with how a dysfunctional organization works in the panthers and experience with Buffalo being well run and working with Allen.
Commented this when watching the GM portion talking Dorsey, so I haven't gotten to the HC portion if you talk about Vrabel and Belichick but just was stating my opinion as well
Connor is by far the best Jets analyst.
FACTS
@@TampaBayTrehe’s the best Connor in NY sports media
Connor is the best football analyst in the media right now
to be fair it's a horrifically low bar to clear. he supported the move to acquire Rodgers, which was an obvious "do you know ball" test.
@@losangelescardinals He's the best Rogers too
Connor’s face on the thumbnail perfectly encapsulates the current situation. You can tell he’s been through some shit
Awesome pod fellas

Phenomenal deep dive here, gents. Appreciate your work
Damn, we have a fix the Jets episode before a fix the Panthers one. Connor must be thrilled 😂
Oh boy didn’t think about it like that 😂
@@TampaBayTreweekly Fix Your Franchise now?
Been watching for over a year and this was my favorite episode so far. The Butterfly Effect segment was phenomenal. Can't wait for the Giants rebuild.
I’m sick it’s October 28th and we’re here watching an episode of Fix Your Franchise: New York Jets.
As a Browns fan I wager the only reason they haven't done us yet is because we're a lost cause (at least Sunday was fun)
as soon as the Jets lost on Sunday I got excited about this video. Just saw it pop up and was like hell yes!

your basically saying everything they talked about in this video is irrelevant because of ownership.
Y'all do so much great work but these Fix Your Franchise episodes might be your best. A Cleveland Browns Fix Your Franchise would feed families
