  • Disclaimer: This is an unbiased review and lines could vary between different batches. I have purchased this myself and this is what I have received so this is what I have tested. Break tests and other specs vary depending on how manufacturers test their lines.
Here I review a fishing line to see if it really lives up to its advertised specs.

3:15 - Break Test... no knots!
I test my lines with knots as I feel it is the closest way I can mimic the lines being used the way they are used in fishing... with knots tied to end tackles like hooks, swivels, clips, etc.
And in this video, I tested this shock leader both with knots and without - it still broke less than the advertised break test.
I will be doing more fishing line reviews as well as terminal tackles such as swivels, bait clips, and many more.

My favourite. Amazing for rig body as knots tie so neatly without kinks.

Can you please let me know what scale you are using ?

It's called a peak / bow scale. Basically, it's used to measure the peak weight of a drawn bow when shooting. Hope this helps. 👍
