67 to 69 are toughest Ford trucks ever produced no doubt. they are indestructible, especially when equipped with the 300ci 4.9L inline six cylinder engine.

After had a new 1972 F-100 240 cid 4 speed, in this truck a learned to drive in 1977, when I was 11. and now in this video when I see the interior and the gear lever I remember again. I just bought 71 f250 high boy it's in excellent shape always barn kept only one rust spot inside cab pass side air vent ( mice) the frame is clean they put disc brakes all the way around it, with a 400 modified that runs great all the sheet metal is straight. It could be a daily driver as it sits, but I'm thinking a restoration and I'll never buy another truck again!, it also has factory power steering from a later truck. I am going to check out auto crafters!. You did an excellent job on this truck!, Award Winning!.I loved the plaid on the seat and the doors!, Awesome!. Have a good day!.

That’s one thing I always thought about my 77 highboy, that the doors always sounded so hollow and tinny, so I took off the interior door panel, and I cut a piece of that thick felt sound deadening material or whatever you call it, and I put it against the outside door skin and taped it down all the way around the edges with that aluminum tape, and you would not believe how nice it sounded when you closed the doors. I couldn’t believe the difference! It was sweet!

Looks fantastic. Great job. I had no idea you were so close to me. Maybe I'll get to see the next one in person.

Sure wish my 68 F100 still looked like that. It was Grandpas 1967-1972. Dads 1072 to 1988, and 1988 and still have mine. Restored it in 1988 and rebuilt the engine in 2000 again. Changed block this time, went for 360 to 390. Not a high boy and not shinny, but still a great reliable truck. Over all it has close to 600,000 miles on it and the C6 A/T was only rebuilt once in 1988,

This one was already sold, but I'm building a '70 right now in "New Lime / Wimbledon White". After that, I have a '68 "Skyview Blue / Harbor Blue". Both completely rust=free highboys, built like the orange one.
