Zo is my all-time favorite center. I became a fan because he was all hard work and discipline, and he became one of the best as an undersized center, which is truly inspiring. Followed him to Miami and became a Heat fan to this day. I was really happy for him when he finally won a ring with Heat after the recovery from his kidney condition.
I remember when I first saw Zo playing for the Charlotte Hornets, what a great talent. The best era of basketball 🏀 for me personally was the 80s and 90s, such great rivalries! Too many 3s nowadays! 👍🏽
I worked for a Sports Memorabilia company that hosted a meet, and greet with Alonzo shortly after winning his Chip with the Heat at the Aventura Mall in South FL. Before I met Zo I always heard the rumors of how he didn't interact with fans. A reputation of not wanting to sign stuff which had fans thinking twice about asking for an autograph, similar to P. Ewing who 100% didn't like to sign. I have to say not only was he the total opposite of what that false narrative was, but my lasting impression of him is of how good of a father he is. I got to meet his family who he brought to the event, and he was very attentive to the first fan in line, all the same to the very last person. He never missed a step through the event in keeping tabs with his family, and I wish I could share the pic we took at the end of the event. A Class Act when it comes to just being a good person, and he's done so much for the Community, and in bringing awareness to important causes like his late brother the Great Dikembe Mutombo. Thank You Zo, and my Condolences.
Two of the greatest to ever lace them up, and this is how we should be with each other. How can you really hate someone over a game especially when your playing days are over. Keep up the great work guys because you people are looking at you and how you carry yourself. You can be a great role model and lift young kids up or tear them down by what they see and hear about what you do.
Zo was so militant I used to think outside of his teammates, Patrick and Dikembe, he hated everyone else lol. I still watch his battles with Rodman at least once a month to get laugh therapy. Hopefully I run into him down here in Miami and have the honor of shaking his hand.
The 90’s had so many talented centers every single night. Shaq Ewing Hakeem Alonzo D Robinson D Mutombo R Smits B Daugherty R Seikaly V Divac K Duckworth K Willis
Thanks for having Zo' on Big Fella! As someone who has an autoimmune disease, it's been really hard trying to eat healthy, so hard that I've almost given up fr. Definitely helps hearing from someone like Zo' about how important that is. I needed that motivation!
Shaq's eating habbits and not working out hard enough is what drove the Late Kobe Bryant crazy when they were teammates on the Lakers. Kobe said if Shaq had Kobe's work ethic and eating (regime) Shaq would've been the Best Player in NBA History. - In Kobe Bryant's own words.
Love the pod and was always a fan of both these bigs but it's nice to see outside of basketball that morning seems such a nice down to earth guy. Much respect to both of you
Remember Sean Elliott had gone through a kidney issue before Zo. So a lot of people thought it may be too dangerous for Zo to come back. What if he got hit in that area.
I hope Shaq follow through with this promise of no dairy my daughter is allergic to dairy so this is close to home I understand it. I really appreciate to hear he kept it up.
I had long respected the Miami Heat when they had Tim Hardaway and Zo. But I officially became a diehard fan when they drafted D Wade in 2003. But with my favorite player of all time being Shaq, when he went to South Beach, I almost lost my mind. What tops those emotions was when Pat Riley resigned Mourning to pair him with Shaq. I knew there would be immense success. To this day I still feel that the 2006 Heat was the best roster I’ve ever seen on paper and on the floor. G Jason Williams G Dwyane Wade F Antoine Walker F Udonis Haslem C Shaquille O’Neal G Gary Payton G Derek Anderson F James Posey F Michael Doleac C Alonzo Mourning G Dorrell Wright F Jason Kapono F Wayne Simeon F Shandon Anderson C Earl Barron
That's true but he wouldn't be if the NBA hadn't changed the rules and as consequence the post play as well. Especially Europeans like Jokic and Luka benefit from it, they pass the ball with ease and it looks a friendly game against a clumsy defense. Young Kevin Garnett wouldn't play that shit around 20 years ago. Not to mention young Shaq in the zone
Shaq is literally genetic privilege lol. Dude didn’t take his craft seriously at all and is still top 10… that’s both wild and proof the blessings pulled up
As a star at any team sport i dont think you really have the option to sit out games, if your healthy you play, alot of young kids get maybe one chance to go and watch their idol, they get the tickets and you decide to sit out, you just cant do that.
I appreciate Zo's health consciousness. However, as a former vegetarian, fake meat is heavily processed. Saying no to an egg yolk but yes to wine is hypocritical. Liquor in any form is poison. I definitely agree Shaq needs to lay off the sugar, but keep the yolk.😂
I do as someone growing up with 90s-early 2000s basketball. It's hard for me to watch games now with very little defense, everyone & dey momma Steph Currying it out there from 3, no rivalries, entitlement, etc.
Cant get enough of 90's basketball talk. My era 90s is the best era. 90s 4 ever
Opinion
@comkillatv sorry u feel that way
🫡
@SumDumGui im going down with the 🚢 90s is the best those players were warriors, played for the love of the game
I’m a 2000’s baby but growing up I watched a lot of 90’s ball on UA-cam. Being 6’9 90’s bball was the best era to get inspiration from
I love Shaq and I wanna thank Alonzo for helping him with his diet. Please Shaq, listen.

Same. I still have a bunch of his cards

Great interview with ‘Zo with necessary info about the accepted American dietary practices that are literally killing us off way too early.
They've got to make a reality show with Shaq, Zo, and Charles Barkley and call it "Two, and a Half Basketball Men."
I'd love it 😂 👏🏾
The half one shaped like a Basketball would clear the original show
😂 Shouldn't be a problem...Krispy Kreme & The General would sponsor

Yall gotta film Zo taking Shaq to the grocery store to show him the vegan meat options... peak content opportunity lmao
I love Zo & Shaq relationship. They should male a mini reality show.
Zo should be a co host

ZO, I had prostate cancer surgery in May, and I am cancer-free now! Post-surgery has been mentally rough, so my prayers are with you!
This is why Shaq should be always mentioned in greatest of all time 😊
My favorite episode! I've been waiting for Zo to be on! He was my favorite player. And I f**king love that Zo is plant-based now. Vegan power!
Thanks for having Zo' on Big Fella! As someone who has an autoimmune disease, it's been really hard trying to eat healthy, so hard that I've almost given up fr. Definitely helps hearing from someone like Zo' about how important that is. I needed that motivation!
Love hearing them talking about the change of the game. It has evolved, imo, from sports competition to sports entertainment.
Love this. Favorite player Big Zo
Zo is awesome as Well
Two of my favorites growing up. Great interview.

Man you have the best intro of all time love it😎🙏🏾
Fan of Zo from his first year at Georgetown
Proud of these great basketball legends of all time. Wonderful championships 👑 together.
I hope Shaq follow through with this promise of no dairy my daughter is allergic to dairy so this is close to home I understand it. I really appreciate to hear he kept it up.
Besides if you are allergic there is absolutely nothing wrong with dairy.
AY YO! the way Shaq took those glasses off 😂😂😂

My son is a huge fan of Shaq. Wondering if he could get an autograph?
No. Shaq isn’t a huge fan of your son.
You gotta find him directly and maybe you get lucky.
Shaq is a really nice person. If he sees your comment he might do it.
@@nocturne311stop saying stuff like that
I've been a huge fan a shaq all my life! We even share the same birthday
Shaq telling Zo, Can I make a food trade? Fist time hearing that. 😂
best episode
After battling illness for years, Shaq and that processed stuff screams wickesness to Zo.
Jokic best post player we seen in the last 20 years

Also speaking on Shaq candy and having Zo on to talk about health. Can yall please consider or look into using healthier food coloring options??
Zo, my basketball role model
My Jr. High teacher, brought Zo to class after school for me & my crew
Shaq x Zo! 🐐🐐
Shaq is literally genetic privilege lol. Dude didn’t take his craft seriously at all and is still top 10… that’s both wild and proof the blessings pulled up
Nah man, most big man dont make it.
Yea. Was just talking with my homie last night that Shaq if he actually tried in the off season, he would've had a Wilt like season of 50 and 20.
I hope ya'll asked him about that Vince Carter dunk😂😂😂😂😂
Joker would be just fine in any era
*FIVE BIG MACS AS A SNACK* 🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔
Shaq for President
I'd like the NBA to be physical again
I dare someone to challenge Shaq
C.mon Shaq. Sydney Olympics were in 2000 and Kazaam came out in 1996. Don't know what happened in 2000 but it wasn't Kazaam.
The last great Georgetown big man!
Kazam came out in 1996. Shaq is lying (or joking) or has a bad memory.
Kazaam came out in 96 so 2000 team ?
Plant based diet is the way to go.
* Big Fan of Both NBA Legends Shaq and Zo... AWESOMENESS

Talks about processed foods but in health failure 😂
I appreciate Zo's health consciousness. However, as a former vegetarian, fake meat is heavily processed. Saying no to an egg yolk but yes to wine is hypocritical. Liquor in any form is poison. I definitely agree Shaq needs to lay off the sugar, but keep the yolk.😂
Great point. Much respect.

Plant based “meats” are also processed
1st 10 min and already has more adds than anything. Sucks cuz i was really hoping this would be dope pcast #weak
Not the extra mayo
VA 757 🖖🏾. #Zo #757 #HamptonRoads #Tidewater
too many commercials - makes it borring.
Butter made out of oat milk? SMDH
Old heads only talk about physical basketball because a lot of those dudes were limited in skills.
👍🏾👍🏿👍🏻❤️
Shaq why u scared of Dwight!?
Why would he be? Shaq was the better player and had the better career by far.
Shaq just lies 😂 Kazaam was released in 96 ..

This poser is the worst ,,
