Mosques welcome people of all faiths and origins to answer queries or offer guidance when needed. I am impressed that you even knew some Arabic and attempted to read the Quran.
I lived in Seoul in the 80s and this masjid is where we went for Eid, where we had our Islamic classes for children, and where we tried to live our faith as a religious minority. Thank you for bringing back so many fond memories of a beautiful part of our childhood

I am from Tashkent/Uzbekistan. I have been twice there 5 and 10 years ago while visiting Seoul on a business trip. I have walked through this street to attend the Friday prayers at Seoul Mosque. Thank you for the video. I remember also that near the beginning of the street, there were the well-known Nanta Theatre (which I have visited and enjoyed the fun of performing the show), and the Russian Embassy.

Your always welcome to come to a mosque if you want to learn anything. Also it's awesome you guys know how to pronounce some of the arabic letters. Go to a mosque where they speak english and ask away. Of course if you are dressed not to the standard to enter the mosque they will guide you on the clothing requirements, or simply talk to you outside in public, so you don't have to go and buy some sort of head covering. We won't force you into doing anything but whoever you meet will likely want to tell you alot about Islam. Nice to see open and very respectful people like you guys!

Me and my wife came here in 2017 during our transit. We were craving halal Korean food, so took a train and then a taxi cab to this place. Had a really delicious food in restaurant called "Eid" if I recall correctly.

Everyday we wake up to the news of some oppression in different parts of India which is not healthy for us. The current government is anti Islamic, anti Muslim every month they are imposing such policies which make life of Muslims and other minorities difficult. May Allah help us and others.

Ironicaly, the place where you read "Islamic Federation Communitiy" was the indonesian restaurant - Makan. Next to the Egyptian shop was the largest halal meat store in red - AL Baraka. I spent 7 years in those streets and I felt nastalgic. So much has changed in two years since I've left Korea but it's been nice to see the familiar streets. Thank you!

Nice....I'm a Canadian....born in Toronto to South Asian parents. I Lived in Korea in the mid 2000's and went to Itaewon Masjid every Friday for Jummah. Back then there were only a handful of Halal restaurants and businesses. Amazing to see how the Muslim community has grown. I miss Korea. It was such a great experience!

If you have doubt you ask any of your know friends there is no restrictions for visiting Masjid of non Muslims as well. This was very fascinating video. The tour was really very impressive; covering a mosque in Korea and showing around the Halal Shops and restaurant. You guys are great. The lady was trying to read the Noble Quran and I was surprized to see her reading correctly. Arabic script is very difficult. and being an American she surprized me readying it correctly. "Min Qablikum": means those (people) before you". The gentleman with her was also reading Arabic correctly. Amazing... You guys are really really amazing. I enjoyed every second of this video. Thank you for the video. I remember also that near the beginning of the street, there were the well-known Nanta Theatre (which I have visited and enjoyed the fun of performing the show), and the Russian Embassy.

Your always welcome to come to a mosque if you want to learn anything. Also it's awesome you guys know how to pronounce some of the arabic letters.
Go to a mosque where they speak english and ask away. Of course if you are dressed not to the standard to enter the mosque they will guide you on the clothing requirements, or simply talk to you outside in public, so you don't have to go and buy some sort of head covering.
We won't force you into doing anything but whoever you meet will likely want to tell you alot about Islam.

Ironicaly, the place where you read "Islamic Federation Communitiy" was the indonesian restaurant - Makan. Next to the Egyptian shop was the largest halal meat store in red - AL Baraka. I spent 7 years in those streets and I felt nastalgic. So much has changed in two years since I've left Korea but it's been nice to see the familiar streets. Thank you!

Nice....I'm a Canadian....born in Toronto to South Asian parents. I Lived in Korea in the mid 2000's and went to Itaewon Masjid every Friday for Jummah. Back then there were only a handful of Halal restaurants and businesses. Amazing to see how the Muslim community has grown. I miss Korea. It was such a great experience!

If you have doubt you ask any of your know friends there is no restrictions for visiting Masjid of non Muslims as well. I request you to ask any person to guide you to show into the Masjid, anytime can visit even while praying but the only condition you should be clean and having proper cloths. This was very fascinating video. The tour was really very impressive; covering a mosque in Korea and showing around the Halal Shops and restaurant. You guys are great. The lady was trying to read the Noble Quran and I was surprized to see her reading correctly. Arabic script is very difficult. and being an American she surprized me readying it correctly. "Min Qablikum": means those (people) before you". The gentleman with her was also reading Arabic correctly. Amazing... You guys are really really amazing. I enjoyed every second of this video. Great video! Btw, i think the imam didn’t notice you guys actually waited for him. Probably got some work and distracted with the other korean guy next to him as soon as you tried to talk to him. The situation did look like a bit unwelcoming but trust me we muslims always welcome all of you to mosque and please just speak to any muslim inside mosque if you need anything.
Your friend did say “I don’t want to be intrusive”, we muslim would never say this to you [You’re not muslim, get out], trust me, if that ever happened in the mosque and treated by the muslims, then they must be uneducated muslim or an extremist. We love that if non muslims visit the mosque and learn about islam. Please, come to 🇲🇾 malaysia.
