I replace the stock clutch springs with +30% clutch springs, adjust the auto-clutch, and clean the filter spring and centrifugal spinner oil filter.

I appreciate the close-up and quality of the video. 👍
Thank you! My wife was kind enough to film this video. She did great!
What does that screw do? 14:25 in the video
@@eugeniodesantiago6640That is the auto-clutch adjustment screw. It smooths out the shifting between gears.
OK, I’m subscribing! I think you make excellent videos on how to… This one is so clear and well described, I’m going to have to up my game 🙂, keep on doing what your doing, regards Chris
Thank you and looking forward to more of your videos as well!
"make sure the peg sticks into the hole in the back pieces". Wish he was thorough enough to show us that. At that point, I realized video isn't really thorough and exited out. But in all fairness to him, he would need a bench and a lighted area and a cameraman and a lot of time. He did a good job all things considered
I think you are referring to time stamp 13:23. The peg on the piece we are adding sticks into the slot of the piece we added immediately before we put the spring on. See 3:20 for what I am talking about if you need another view. The Ovalish shaped slot that I show is the hole that the peg goes in. Hope this helps and thank you for pointing this out.
Yes.. thank you!
You are so welcome!
Great job !
Thank you! 😊
Put a little dielectric grease on the rubber grommets for the side cover. It will be much easier to remove and replace.
Excellent idea! It actually took a little force to get it to pop on this time. I will definitely use that trick the next time I have to remove it.
@QuantiQualification Use just a little on a Q tip on the inside. I've never had a problem with a cover coming off going down the road on my motorcycles, but there's a first time for everything.
@@BAtadCrazy Noted. 🙂
First
LOL! Yes you are, always 😉
First!
Third . . . 😉
When you dont have a clue and just tear the side cover off...snapping off the plastic tabs......"Still lots of little bits and pieces"=One piece that simply slides off....Shift lever is held on by a 12mm bolt, not a pinch screw.Don't worry,I left out the important parts so you cant see how to put the case back on with the screwdriver in the way.Again Just because I dont know the difference between a screw and a bolt...Dont worry,I can make it appear like I know what I am doing.
Thank you for commenting. 1) Interestingly, I was able to take off the plastic side cover without breaking the tabs the first time I tried, even though there was no guide on youtube at the time. I have since provided the only guide. You can look it up if you would like. The tabs are delicate and ultimately, if you work on the bike extensively, like I have, they will sheer off. 2) Feel free to study the difference between a screw and a bolt. I have and was surprised to discover that the vast majority of the population gets it wrong, myself including when I started filming youtube videos. Just an FYI, a bolt REQUIRES a nut to be classified as such. If not, the threaded fastener, by definition, is a screw. Sucks, but that is what the standards say. I have had plenty of berating for trying to hold that standard but I try to be accurate. 3) I am not an expert. I don't claim to be an expert. I expect people to view the videos if it is helpful to them or for entertainment. This is only the second time I have removed the right side engine cover and I do think I faired well. 4) If you need to see different views of the engine side cover being put on, I also have an oil pump installation video you are welcome to view. Caveat emptor applies.
