i'll never forget the experience of seeing this comic's first update, and being like "haha, that's a funny concept" not knowing it would go on to become the single best comic i've ever read in my life
This ending left me in awe. Sunsetter is my favorite song and to hear it like this was just. . . awesome. And man the images synced to the song were so well made. This comic has inspired me.
What a beautiful final (major?) flash, Sunsetter (Ska Ver.) has such this wonderful upliftingly bittersweet tone that realy fits what's being depicted. Thank you for everything that went into KGTAC, and good luck on that last little bit to finish it off!
You created a beautiful story about a story, a beautiful idea about ideas. Thank you for such an excellent experience about our experiences. I hope those don't sound silly, but I think they sum up how I feel. Thank you again. Incredible comic.
i literally got recommended a different animation of this webcomic , no clue about the comic, decided i didnt care. watched the first few seconds and clicked off. i got recommended this video a second time, watched a few seconds and looked at the comments, saw a lot of very extreme emotions, and about a comic. admittedly i thought they just meant homestuck. i check the description and next thing i know ive read the entire fucking webcomic along with all of problem sleuth because this comic told me to, now i see this video and realize it wasnt posted months ago like i thought, but a day ago, i literally came in as soon as it was done. the webcomic was a fucking amazing commentary on homestuck culture and the comic itself. thank you, assuming you helped make this but it was fucking amazing, despite the fact that its still ongoing.
I read the first few pages back when it came out and kinda forgot about it. Then was just listening to music and the ska sunsetter cover got recommended and it led me back to seeing this flash and going "holy shit what the fuck happened" and binged it in a whole day. It such a well written fancomic to both the characters original and canon along with the humor and extra lore added (fucking loved the hornless troll bit). It soo perfect i would recommend it to friends if they knew what hs was
“don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” - dr seuss this fanstory will always be one of my favorites. i hope in the future, other people read this to see how good of a story this is, i’d recommend it to anyone. its been a fun ride, good luck to you and your future projects!!!
@@hellparkfannn the worst part is my joke doesn't even work since technically this is a real Homestuck song It was unused and maybe also not on any albums? but im pretty sure this is toby fox singing
what a perfect conclusion to a story that ended up being more thought out than its precedent. it kind of blows me away that a thing like this can exist based off of the comic thats absorbed so much of my life. it was so cohesive! at least, more than i initially thought it to be. a lot of was reading like one huge cope for why homestuck ended the way it did, the epilogues, and the beyond canon continuation. im including this in my plot summarization because i wanna point out how much i love the ideas displayed near the end. especially the alternate final battle for the fight sounds like such a stellar alternative to what we got. and a lot more thematically rewarding. also karkat and dave were honestly the perfect pair for this comic. i like how karkat had the chance to have an arc! something that got wrote off again and again in the source material. im just to the MOON with homestuck fan adventure: karkat goes to a convention.
The shot of Karkat smiling and standing tall before turning to stone really struck me
Aw man, Dave looking at Karkat and giving him the thumbs up before turning to stone really got me right in the heart.

emotions are fucking weird, i teared up a little when the jades reverted.
I'm crying. I'm not sad but I'm crying.
What a good convention
See you all next year :')
This felt like one of those video games where you unlock the "true" ending after completing all of the normal routes first.
Amazing,
I have watched this like 20 times now
damn, this is one of the best homestuck related things ive ever seen, i hope this webcomic gets all the recognition and love it deserves
Some things tease that this is not the end, but i almost kinda do hope it is. It's a perfect conclusion.
I haven't read the original Homestuck but my friend recommended me this fan comic and it has been actually life changing this was amazing
i was literally listening to this song this morning and now it's here in this

Homestuck if it had good music...
most homestuck songs have good songs like umbral ultinum whatever it was called and like fuchsia ruler. but this ones a teensy bit better!!

@@hellparkfannn lmao i was joking dude i love homestuck music
