It's his mistake. You can't bring the Sea to Kumasi. You can only create a carnal so his wording was very wrong. Sea has several compositions different from rivers lakes and carnals. Next time he should chose his words carefully

@@emmakorang5707 i lack understanding and ignorant?? really says the person who doesn't even understand what it takes to dredge a river and simple geography - You don't even understand that the water bodies in Ghana flow downstream into the sea - even if you wanted to dredge the rivers - do you know how much money it will cost? you lack basic engineering just like Cheddar and most Ghanaian Youth and that is exactly why you folks follow blindly. You are the very reason why Math, science and Engineering should be made mandatory for all students just like India and some Asian countries does. The number 1 problem in Ghana is not lack of development - but engraved corruption within the mental faculty if every Ghanaian and our culture. For us to develop us a people we first have to tackle that else we will be voting folks like cheddar into power just to come and mismanage money in de name of development. Hence the current situation we are in - why won't Nana Addo say he wants to build a cathedral and sky train, as well as Drone blood delivery when we don't even have basic need of a hospital.

I thought same. I think he needs to put together a strong media team because when I heard what he said about the sea in Kumasi, I thought why not? If anyone had said a train can travel without a driver, I would have said impossible; but it runs in London. If anyone has said the sea or water bodies like a beach will appear in the desert, I would’ve laughed…but it is in Dubai and we are paying money to go there.
Anyway, Nkrumah suffered same …we have not changed as a people.

Brilliant submission, it's a matter of just connecting the rivers we already have existing; looking at the map...with time and the expertise of skilled engineers i firmly believe it's entirely feasible

What he's saying about jobs and industries is spot on... Eg the whole of Accra where do you buy car parts? Abossay okai.... Imagine there's one at Mallam and there's one at Domi and Taifa and another at Teshie and Nungua.... Thats a form of industry where people can work... A taxi driver at domi would not travel all the way to abbosey okai.. They will just go to the one at taifa.... Again if there was a dedicated land space at La or Teshie large enough to be a smmall industrial area where bakers, sachet water, block factory, gate or welders are all located that's a form of industry.If we have many of such industrial areas imagine the jobs it will create in the whole of ghana... .. A carpenter making sofa and beds wants to expand but on the road side... How can he expand his business? If we have such a small community industrial estate he can go an rent extra space and expand his business... Remember that this expansion means he has to get more workers... That's job creation....our leaders have no vision and even if you have no vision you can at least copy the good things someone is doing.. Just as we see in Europe...
