I agree, and I'm not Indian or Australian. I noticed the respect between the cricket fans of both nations a while ago and it's what the world needs more of. We're all fans, but when it's time to analyze we need to turn off our fandom. I first encountered this during the Euro 2000 soccer (football) championship in the early internet days. I listened to a call in show, with callers from all over Europe. They all could separate their hearts from their brains. This is true of chess as well. The new World Champion Gukesh and the young Indian generation is a glorious example of pride and humility. My sense from afar is that Pat Cummins is another example.
What is a country? Over half the crowd at the MCG is Indian. And they all live here. So what exactly is a country and what is "Australia"?

That final 15 mins were disastrous. Jaiswal and Kohli were looking so comfortable. The runout was just harakiri. Both are at fault. It was a very tight call and was unnecessary by Jaiswal, but Kohli was also ball watching. And that runout led to the lapse in concentration and Kohli got out to his usual weakness. But that isn't an excuse. At this stage of his career, he shouldn't be losing concentration when he knows he's key even if there was a runout.
