These cars are fantastic to own and drive. My wife and I live in the United States, so the hottest estate versions we received here were the Legacy GT wagon and the Outback 2.5 XT. They're incredibly difficult to find, and even harder to track down with a proper manual gearbox. I shopped online for the better part of a year until I found my 5-Speed Manual 2008 Outback XT Limited. I am now second owner, and I will own and care for it FOREVER. I genuinely believe that these are the best overall cars in the world. I wouldn't trade mine for anything!

I've got a BL5 B4 Twinscroll legacy, im just finishing off building it now, if you're after a few upgrades i'd suggest a downpipe, silicone inlet and a upgraded intercooler, you can also purchase a Hybrid core for your TD04-HLA if the car is on the original turbo, they make good power, but the compression is quite high so you have to be careful, typically you'll find the limitations of the gearbox before the engine.
If you blow your turbo, try and source a VF45 if you cannot find a TD04-HLA 19T, the VF38 is cheap and cheerful but its the smaller of the turbos available for the Twinscrolls so that'll limit your power if you want to upgrade
Oh and rear doors not locking etc... Common issue.. also window regulators love to go on these, that is a big issue.
Oh and before you get the leathers from a UK model, just to let you know, the Hatch STI seats fit into these cars directly as the floorpan of these BL5 and BP5 legacies is literally the same as the 2008-2014 STI/WRX

Hey, great to see some Legacy videos. I imported an 07 Legacy GT last year. Absolutely love it, such a fun car. A pal of mine is breaking his 03 Spec B (unfortunately) and it has a decent full leather interior. Its been well kept for the most part but is a milage machine and has unfortunatley developed a few issues the last year or two.

These cars go through bushes, brakes are known for sticking, slide pins or rusty pistons could be your brakes noise
