Isopods...the little creatures you never expected to love so much. I really like these dalmations. I want some rubber duckies too!! Scarlet would be awesome but the price tag! Yeesh!
When I was little, my maternal grandparents got a big globe terrarium that sat on a pedestal. They had me help them put it together and add the plants. I watched the plants grow overtime and loved it. Your videos on terrariums has woken that love. I can’t wait until I can make my own, but I first need to find a job so I can buy what I need. This terrarium looks very similar, minus all the bells and whistles, to what my grandparents had.
Stunning piece of living art. I went and liked at it in Amazon, from the link you provided, and tyo be honest, their displayed photo would never have encouraged me to give this item a second thought. Your work on the other hand makes the value of the product look much more in line with the price tag they affixed to it.
I am awed by your work and how stunning this finished masterpiece looks. As a marketing consultant, I just want to add that you are a fantastic resource in this field and I hope you will be well compensated for your time and expertise involved in future projects. You are amazing and should be a paid consultant for various companies.
I have been meaning to tell you for a while how much I enjoy your videos. Your authenticity and obvious enjoyment of everything you do are as much a pull as your projects. Thank you!
Thanks for talking more about the types of bugs you use and why you use them. I think people are so quick to try to get rid of bugs, yet they play a huge role in the health of the planet, and we would be wise to learn more about them.
I agree that it is some of your best work. I think the extra horizontal room in an orb allows plants to take up extra room rather than press up against the glass as in normal terrariums. I'm excited to see what this looks like in a few months! While I do not like their biorb aquariums, I've been VERY interested in this product for some time. I was stoked to see your video showcasing it. As always, great video!!!
Your videos are always inspiring as well as educational and easy to follow. So many people just blow through the effort that goes into artfully scaping their ‘rariums, but you show that for a real piece of art it takes time and a good eye. And boy, do you have an eye! Keep being awesome!!
Okay I have to say I’ve watch every build video you have ever done. This is by far the best end result yet! So cool and so amazing monthly updates on this one would be great!
Oh my gosh, you’ve outdone yourself!! Just gorgeous! Seriously thinking about getting a bio-orb since I have a jewel orchid too that I really want to pamper. The orb is beautiful, and the finished look with the light shining out is amazing. Agree that future versions with an app to control light and humidity would be a huge plus.
I used to grow full sized orchids, but since surviving cancer, I am no longer strong enough to handle them. I'm switching to miniatures, and this type of setup will be ideal for me. Drying out of small pots is a major problem, but not with this setup. I will be starting with some miniature Phalaenopsis, and Dendrobium loddigessii. Might also try some terrestrials that grow in damp soil, like Acianthus and Corybas.

Really love your videos! This one is especially beautiful and I feel like I’ve learned so much more about Orchids and the variation of their appearances. Your art is beautiful 💚
Stunning! Love how the light cast plant shadows onto the wall. You make it look so effortless putting all the plants together. I would have to rearrange multiples times to fit it to look right. That being said, I agree your end result might be the best looking one yet! I for one completely enjoy your “ instructional” videos, even though you said you hate following instructions 😂😂.
Absolutely beautiful design. I've been thinking about creating my own biosphere. I work one day a week at the greenhouses for the store I work for, to gain more knowledge about plants and how to care for them. My love of horticulture grows everyday. Thank you for your inspiration on these beautiful pieces.
Wow that is fancy! And you absolutely killed it, not just with the design either but the whole video was great. Your commentary was spot on and the filming and editing was beautiful, you really pulled out all the stops on this one dude!
Can’t wait to see the follow up! I think this would be very good for those who can not offer the system proper care or, for those who want real plants in rooms that do not have good conditions to allow plants to survive
Okay so I came across your channel today and I've watched probably 4 hours of it. It is so satisfying to see someone doing what they were so clearly meant to do and enjoy it. The topic is interesting, and I'm tempted to make some sort of terrarium, but it's watching somebody with expertise and passion that makes your channel so damn watchable. I am so happy that you found this hobby, and I'm even happier that you decided to share it.
You did such a nice job I think if biOrb owes you some money!! All your work is brilliant but this one is, without a doubt, some of your best work. Kudos, VERY nicely done! Thank you for sharing. 😊❤
The price has been a "no go" for me as well. But when you really think about it: how much is a standard 45x45x60 cm exoterra when you count in lighting, automation, misting gear, ... And apparently in this case you only need one plug. So, while watching this video, I really decided to try and find a used one 😉
@@frankpierco8826 - yes, I have been trying to make something like this from scratch, but found that anything made from shaped acrylic is terribly expensive to begin with. The price is probably good considering what you are getting - but still a lot of money to try to find.
I will enjoy watching the progress of yours. The almost $2000 price to buy one in Australia is a little too much. You have encouraged me to try closed terrariums and I have one that I started in November last year and it's doing really well, thank you.
Myyy... This is beautiful... Here in Europe I can only dream of getting all these plant species or substrates in a store... You guys really have everything... I just watch in awe.
This turned out absolutely gorgeous! I think it's something I would be willing to invest in because of all the features and the easy setup. Thanks!! You're an artist. :)
Really love all that organic matter levelling to the base and coming through to a performance which is with beautiful arrangement and of course, looks great. Beautiful xx
You did an incredible job fitting everything in so it looks like a forrest and it really does look beautiful very very beautiful and l adore that you put tiny creators in there, they'll be loving such a safe and healthy place to live, again very beautiful work.
I love the video. I've been standoffish on the edge about this product since but after seeing how it turned out for you I'm gonna get one. Thanks for taking the time to provide details about how to set it up, changes you made and especially the plants used because I'm hoping to use a few of them also.
At first I thought you were adding too many plants, but after you finished it, I saw the overall look and was in love. I would very much like to have one or three of these in my home. A terrarium is the only way for me to have indoor plants as my cats tend to try munching on the greenery. That is not only bad for the plants but can be disastrous for the cats as well.
You are a true terrarium pro. That's absolutely beautiful. I want one. I have a Biorb goldfish tank. I still can't believe how great it looks and how my water parameters are solo stable.
You have outdone yourself!!! Ps. I love the candour about the context of your using the orb, and its shortcomings. But that honesty just makes me want it more! By gosh, that looks so beautiful!
Hey man! I would love to see you do a terrarium inspired by an abandoned building- nature retaking an urban environment. It would be an opportunity to use some different kinds of hardscape than what you typically use to recreate a natural environment- like brick, metal, or concrete!
This is fantastic -and gorgeous- work!!! I've been away from UA-cam for a few months, but I'm glad to see you having a good time making living art. Loved the video and the creation- best wishes! -Anton
Incredible! You truly do a fabulous job. I have been trying to figure out how to put live plants in my BiOrb aquarium, as the artificial decor is okay looking, I want to mimic my animal’s natural habitats as much as possible. I have recently become obsessed with live setups and am hoping to implement what I’ve learned into all my aquariums and terrarium setups.
If you end up doing a 4th version of the biorb I would enjoy seeing one with a coco-fibre liner background. I feel like it would give relief to the eye while still allowing for the cool roundness. What you do with the biorb is really cool. I've watched other videos and it seems like a challenging product to work with in an artistic way, which I think you achieved particularly in your two later versions. Love that you used pagoda stone! It’s one of my absolute favorites! And your scape is gorgeous. Congratulations! It’s funny - I thought immediately which isopods I would add if I had one, and here you went ahead and added a great-looking and functional species.
We saw this unit at the gift shows this year and so wanted to buy it but we let it pass for this year. You did an amazing job and thank-you for your inspiration.
Awsum video really cool product intrested to see how it preforms in the future. As for your selection of plants and hardscapes absolutely stunning as usal. You always make it look as if it was lifted from the forest floor
Looks great! You should definitely think about adding a fun inhabitant to the orb! A Mantis perhaps? Orcid Mantis (Hymenopus coronatus) is my go to when I got a small vivarium thats predominantly green as they bring in some colour!
This looks lovely and really natural. I've seen them at shows here in the UK, and know a couple of people who have them - one of whom had problems with the substrate and ended up replacing it completely. I would love one but they the biOrb AIR 60 retails at £350 (approx. $450), so is way out of my budget.
This is seriously so awesome! Watched this video a few times and shared with some friends and family. Inspired to build a terrarium with my nephew this weekend. While it won't be on the same scale as a bio orb, it is a start. Thanks for the great video and inspiration!
Beautifully done. They must be blown away by this... I know I am. 👍 This makes me want to shrink up and have a good wander.😊 How long does it take for these tiny orchids to bloom? I know it can take a while for the orchids you see in homes and greenhouses. In any event, I love the mosses and ferns just as much.❤ This truly is a gorgeous orb/bio orb. 🍃🌱🍃
Thank you and I sure hope they do! It all depends and there's really no way to tell. I got some a few months back and they bloomed almost immediately, but who knows with this batch.
Oase and I teamed up for this one to bring you a bioative biOrb! So glad I could make this happen for all of you who requested it. Enjoy!
Glad you could make it too! I'm sure they'll be very impressed by your work!

Also, just curious - what are your top 3 stones and wood? Maybe a short video or instagram post idea :)
I really like this biorb. It is pretty calming to look at. Nice job and video
Wow! Will be looking at large glass vessels at yardsales in the spring. Amazing and beautiful.
Thats a work of art mate. Its like a painter getting supplied with a canvas though, as you've got to be an artist to get a finish like that. Nice one.
We saw this unit at the gift shows this year and so wanted to buy it but we let it pass for this year. You did an amazing job and thank-you for your inspiration.
you did an amazing job!! and i myself would love to see them send you more, especially different sizes if they have them....
Absolutely beautiful, this video inspires me to create my own. AND I’VE NEVER MADE ONE! 🤣👀👀💕💕💕💕🥰🥰🥰 beautiful job👏👏👏
Awsum video really cool product intrested to see how it preforms in the future. As for your selection of plants and hardscapes absolutely stunning as usal. You always make it look as if it was lifted from the forest floor
that's a real tight setup Serpa. I like this one very much
You are seriously talented and I love your work! Incredibly beautiful!
Stunning... absolutely.
I'll be looking for one and studying your example for sure. I tapped the bell for an update
I've been thinking about getting this biOrb so I'm really glad you did a review of it. It really does make a beautiful terrarium.
Looks great! You should definitely think about adding a fun inhabitant to the orb! A Mantis perhaps? Orcid Mantis (Hymenopus coronatus) is my go to when I got a small vivarium thats predominantly green as they bring in some colour!
I thought that I had a little talent with plants- that is until I subscribed to this channel. Wow- so amazing!
This makes me want to shrink up and have a good wander.😊
How long does it take for these tiny orchids to bloom? I know it can take a while for the orchids you see in homes and greenhouses. In any event, I love the mosses and ferns just as much.❤
This truly is a gorgeous orb/bio orb. 🍃🌱🍃
Thank you and I sure hope they do! It all depends and there's really no way to tell. I got some a few months back and they bloomed almost immediately, but who knows with this batch.
how beautiful! i dont have space for something that big but definitely beautiful to watch you set it up!
