I just imagine a group of friends in their village attending a festival together and enjoying the last few days before they have to go off to battle, spending time with each other and with their families to let them know how much they love them.
"And when you're down for the count And you lost all your will to go on On your own I will fall from the sky Wipe the tears from your eyes And remind you you're never alone" This hit me hard today. I needed to hear this.
This song is so beautiful. It touches my heart. It reminds me that all of us have the ability to imagine things great or small. Thomas Bergeson is a musical genius. I have yet to hear a terrible composition. His musical scores are lovely to ears of every kind. Believe me my cats even love his music!
Oh wow!! This is so beautiful! Wow! What I imagine when I listen to the song... Months of rain have covered the land and everything seem dreadful and dreary. But finally one day the sun broke free from the dark clouds. The villagers emerged from there huts smiling at the rays of sunlight touching their faces. It wasn't long before children ran around playing and singing. Days passed and it was clear spring has arrived. Green grass stood tall small flower started to bloom. The small village got more lively and preparation went underway for the spring festival. On the day of the festival children in bright clothes ran trough the village gifting every person they met a flower. Even the grumpy of grumpiest person could not hide his smile as he watch the joy the children have. The day went on and people celebrated. When night fell everyone in the village gathered around the fire in the center. They bowed their heads thanking their gods for the gift of a new season. The villagers looked to the sky and saw the stars dancing as their gods heard their prayers. With happy and hopeful hearts the people went to bed knowing it will be a blessed year.
I remember a time in my life when I was so lost and depressed, and the only thing I could do was to shield myself, using my mind, my own imagination to create art from my pain, because that was the only thing no one could ever take away from me. I am usually by no means a fan of pop or non-worship lyrical music. However, after listening to this song for the first time, I think I'll make an exception. The melody is beautiful, Audrey's singing is heavenly, and the lyrics themselves are a wonderful break from the materialistic music we hear on the radio every day. Instead of hearing about money, sex, and unreal romance, I hear about something we all so deeply desire: companionship. Even if it is temporarily between ourselves, our imaginations, and nature. From a Catholic perspective, these three things are each God's creation, and I find it a good reminder of the harmony that is designed to exist between Creator and created. Masterfully composed and sung. Well done. (Also, that key change was a surprise to be sure, but it was absolutely a welcome one.)
look for what you want, and you'll see it. Listen for what you want, you'll hear it. There're plenty of amazing lyrical songs that are about simple, realistic companionship. But I have to agree, this is a great song.
Someone else heard this too! Very happy to read this! For me, GOD was not mentioned 1 time in this song, but I can't hear it any other way than the one who created everything (including our imaginations) giving a calming unity and comfort and saying "I've have you, even when you didn't know you needed it." I am reminded of the poem about the 2 sets of footprints in the sand, except in this version, there are foot prints and skid marks. When asking God what the skid marks were, he said "That is when I dragged you".
This is far by the best music I've ever listened to. And I am crying right now, on how this song delivers to my heart. I am thankful that I listen to every music of Thomas and Two steps from hell. Their music helps me write my ongoing story or novel. I am glad that this exists.
I've been thinking the same thing. Where are all the prime time specials about these artists? Where is all the media buzz? But then again, once that happens they will become mainstream, and may be swept up in the current. Their work may be negatively affected, and we don't want that do we? :)
No... you listen to it and judge it by how it sounds, that is terribly non objective. All of their pieces are made with a very basic chord progression, no counterpoint, no form, basic modulations, basic orchestration, basic harmonisation etc, you can say it is your favorite composer/style but you can't say that these guys are the "Beethoven and Bach of our generation" it is absolutely nonsense :)
Why there are so few views and likes, not to mention the number of subscriptions. I don’t know if anyone’s going to think I’m nuts, but I pray every day that you have over three million followers. Thank you Thomas and Nick for being you!
I love how music unites people of different countries and cultures, even people that hate each other find understanding in music, it's like a common language that only a few use to talk. Thank you Thomas for using it and sharing it with us.
This is pure brilliance and beauty. I didn't think it was possible for such a wonderful feeling and idea to be translated so well, so completely, but you wonderful people managed it! I can't even begin to describe how this piece makes me feel.
Absolutely beautiful. Thomas' creativity continues to amaze. He has a talent for composing music for your soul. I've wondered of late what Thomas might think of another master composer, Tuomas Holopainen of Nightwish.

Hold my hand
And let go of the lie
Hold your heart
Lost in time
And when you're down for the count
And you lost all your will to go on
On your own
I will fall from the sky
Wipe the tears from your eyes
And remind you you're never alone
I am rivers and forests
I'm winds and I'm earth
I am oceans and mountains
A whisper unheard
And before you lies everything you'd ever want
I am your, your imagination
Take this chance
And let go of the lie
One bright feat
One time to shine
And when you're down for the count
And you lost all your will to survive
On your own
I will fall from the sky
Wipe the tears from your eyes
And remind you you're never alone
I am rivers and forests
I'm winds and I'm earth
I am oceans and mountains

And before you lies everything you'd ever want

@@marsaeolus9248 Have you ever tried composing your own piece of music before? It's not as simple as you make it sound.
These have got to be TSFH's best lyrics in one of the best tracks from both chapters of Humanity so far.
It’s beatiful,,, “Your” song is just “imaginative” x) from Japan.
This is Apollo's work right here TSFH team! Totally from another world. Also, 3:19 key change was brilliant.

Love this song! One of my favourite pop tracks from Thomas
This is one of those songs where I wish I could upvote multiple times.
Why there are so few views and likes, not to mention the number of subscriptions. I don’t know if anyone’s going to think I’m nuts, but I pray every day that you have over three million followers. Thank you Thomas and Nick for being you!
A song with healing properties.
Yes!!! One of my favourite songs from the album is now on UA-cam! I remember hearing the first time... I got chills. Still do.
How come this isn't in trending? This masterpiece needs recognition!!
I love how music unites people of different countries and cultures, even people that hate each other find understanding in music, it's like a common language that only a few use to talk. Thank you Thomas for using it and sharing it with us.
This music gave me unimaginable confidence!
This is pure brilliance and beauty. I didn't think it was possible for such a wonderful feeling and idea to be translated so well, so completely, but you wonderful people managed it! I can't even begin to describe how this piece makes me feel.
Cette musique et cette voix... Omg 😍
This would be a song Bob Ross would want to share with everyone.

The overtune makes me feel sad, reminding that she's only an imagination and she disappears, love this song soo much 😭😢
Fantastic music with amazing singer !
Came back here after listening to Materialize again and again.
The tracks that TSFH compose will always have a special place in my heart 😌💕
Absolutely beautiful. Thomas' creativity continues to amaze. He has a talent for composing music for your soul. I've wondered of late what Thomas might think of another master composer, Tuomas Holopainen of Nightwish.
This song makes me happy
I bless the day I met this channel.
