Yo great show as always big ups!!! @scoop just wanted to something about the producers and artists not mentioning them in their songs ,PROKID is the ONLY artist that mentioned "beat-makers" in the begin of his songs like 90% of the time and i think all those producers PH raw mentioned are also highly known due those type of shout outs and probably Existing and upcoming artist can follow suit to try and kill the stigma and giving flowers to producers as well

This fetishization of Bantustans and misrepresentation by Scoop about their sovereignty is tragic. The people he quotes as trailblazers were rare outliers at best or children of functionaries of Bantustans at worst. And if they were the latter, deserves no less condemnation that Verwoed or De Klerk themselves.
I enjoyed this pop radio...as I did others nonetheless. I enjoy listening to experience-based opinions such as these.

For us who grew up in the Bantustans, comparing SA now to the way things were then it’s tragic. Most of us reminisce of the good old days. However we must never be ignorant of the political climate of the time and how the Bantustans came about.
