All of the 3 skills of competition water skiing is so difficult to do. Why is this sport not in the summer Olympics?

Because you can’t do any of them without an engine. No Olympic sport has engine assists in any way shape or form.

@@ryanschaff123 Very interesting analysis to this question. I have never thought of it that way before, and I think you are right. However, the engine is only for propulsion of the skier. it doesn't assist with the athletics. Without it, they are sitting in the water. IMO, the engine used by a water skier is the same as a snow skier uses gravity as their engine for propulsion. Without it, they are standing on flat land.

All respect to athlets there...but, for me looks this sport like predecessor of wakeboard. Give this girsl the wakeboard and 2 years of training and they will kill it like others pro :-) - cos they are fantastic athlets...
