I'm happy for Tyler, I remember hearing about this story in like middle school, very heart warming, and great it wasn't undervalued. Probably the second expensive card i heard sell for pretty high in Yugioh. 1st one was Dark End Dragon for like $2,000 only given to tournament winners.
I was expecting half a mil but I think it got held back by being just a simply ebay listing and not a high end auction. Also the fact bidding was regional restricted is super weird.

The Holy Grail in series like Yugioh and Magic is subjective. For me, it's the Lu Bu Magic the Gathering cards. I would love to get my hands on any one of those.
I don’t know what’s crazier, that a playing card can get that amount of money, or that amount of money only just about covers about a modest home outright depending on where it’s at etc.
It's kind of poetic, I think. He got that card through Make-A-Wish because he wasn't likely to grow up and be able to experience all those things, but now that he beat his disease that card will help fund those experiences.
I know tyler. He lives here in Indianapolis living a healthy life. Super nice guy he does some card signings from time to time. He sold the card to pay medical bills and has no regrets about it
Not entirely sure but your comment sounds to me like you think this is a fan run channel or something, I could be misreading it but just incase you should know this is Charlie's official clips channel he runs himself

It went for 311 grand jesus christ, well, hopefully Tyler will be able to make use of the money, the card was a gift both for him as a child as an awesome toy/trinket/trophy, now it's a gift for him as an adult as a 311 grand check, I love that idea.

I'm sayinnnn
actually disappointed not going to lie

This video should be titled most successful make a wish heist ever pulled
A make a wish card being able to provide those experiences as an adult recovering from an illness is almost like a second make-a-wish gift
It does give a bitter aftertaste that the money didn't go back as a donation to the make a wish foundation to help other kids, though...
@Cephon disagree. Happy he kept the money. Keep it for his family and provide a better life. Got rich greedy fcks that can donate for a tax break.
