Its nice to hear this song since I recorded it..I was on Bass Benny Lopez original leader and Bass Player..I also composed Whittier Blvd..i wrote the Bass arangement..recorded the first album..
Thee only time "percussion" was used on one of our recordings.Thee Midniters were then, a "Horn" Driven band thanks to the gifted imagination of Romeo Prado. This cut was never released until this compilation. Viva La Musica!
