Hi !. I when to your previous video and was checking the before and after of how much the plants growing. Whaoo, a big change. The only I was missing was to see a long shot of the garden . Thanks for your time and individually bed explanation. I had one black berries I buy like a little one branch . I planted and developed this 10 feet long branches. Each branch when touch the soil will develop roots. I not sure if I did correctly but that was to much for me . I cut the end , left the main stem and the rest in a trellis. The plant is full of flower and fruit. My question this fall : Did I need to cut all the branches and let the plant to grow again. Can you make a video how you prune your?. I just feel overwhelmed when everytime the branches touch the soil make develop roots and I had plants everywhere.
To make the blackberries easier to manage I let the new canes get up to about 4ft tall and then prune them. They will then grow some side branches off the canes. I could probably grow them longer but I haven't built a trellis to help mange them so I just prune at 4ft tall. I may do a video on the blackberry pruning when the new canes get tall enough. And I will do a video with a wider shot of the whole garden. I haven't done that in a while. Thank you!
