I’ve been skydiving and BASE jumping for over 15 years (5) BASE, and sadly I have lost several friends due to this sport, and to all the people wanting to see the video of his death, have some respect guys, he has a family!
My family knows the risks I take every time I jump, and since the birth of my second child I’ve slowed down on the BASE side of. Things and dedicated more time to Paragliding, which they often join me in the sky, but to say ‘he died doing what he loved’ is a cop out!
He knew the risks, as all of us do participating in extreme sports, but sadly when we lose a brother or sister due to this, the last thing we want is the footage of it all over the Internet for mindless creatures to be entertained by!

I feel honored to have been at that show which was absolutely amazing, but without doubt Roner's base jump was definitely the highlight of the show for me. If ever the show comes back to Durban let it be a Roner Tribute. RIP Roner #livelikeroner

Eric always stuck out as my favorite. Watching nitro circus from the very beginning and the movie they released, he always had that attitude that was impossible not to love. He always reminded you to live every day of your life doing absolutely what you love. Rest is peace

zeroceiling Its in case they bodge the landing and looses his footing and falls backwards or similar. Its common for most base jumpers and sky divers
